You mean which creatures would lurk into urban areas...
Well Vamp and Werewolves...
...but if I'm serious...
I would say maybe half-demons could exist in the real world...

Do you mean like Spring Heeled Jack? Or am I totally missing the point?

Half demons(alternately Nephillim, cacodemons, or other lesser known names) are the spawn of a human and a demon. The most famous historical example would of course be Merlin. Demonologists believe they may still exist in the world but but they wouldn't appear any different then normal humans(in Biblical passages they were giants but that no longer seems to be the case) the main difference is in there psychology. Being born of pure evil they are from birth evil and with out consceince.

hmmm, good question, I think the only one I can think of has already been mentioned - Spring Heeled Jack. Maybe at a stretch you could also include the creature that left mysterious footprints one night (somewhere in the southwest UK I believe), that went on for miles, over rooftops and over some pretty awkward obstacles.
*puts thinking cap on*
I will have to look further into this one

????????????????? um, what? im not sure what story you are referring to, but please to be elaborating, i would love to know where you got that idea.
( you do also realize that merlin wasn't/isn't real, and therfore does not qualify as a "historical example" )

I thought Merlin was a wizard in King Arthur's court...not a half demon...
