I haven't seen Chris around in quite a while, but I'll post this for anyone else who may be interested in the 'foo-fighter' phenomena. The researcher seems competent and thorough, and admits to there being limited sources of information to draw from. The second link has photographs of 'foo-fighters';

"...man has an irrepressible tendency to read meaning into the buzzing confusion of sights and sounds impinging on his senses; and where no agreed meaning can be found, he will provide it out of his own imagination." ~ Arthur Koestler
MM, Those were fascinating photos, especially with the war planes. One of the crew members said they had fired on a 'foo fighter', and the missile had gone right through! That sounds like a hologram (diversion by the enemy?) ???
"Science may have found a cure for most evils; but it has
found no remedy for the worst of them all --- the apathy of human beings." Helen Keller

Foo Fighters Most UFO researchers are familiar with the Foo Fighter mystery, which involved strange balls of light and small, metallic objects seen by both allied and axis pilots during the second world war. File AIR 14/2800 at the public record office UK contains one of the few surviving official British reports of these objects, detailinghow aircrew from Bomber Commands 115 squadron saw some of these strange objects on bombing raids in december 1943.
"We make choices everyday, some of them good, some of them bad. And - if we are strong enough - we live with the consequences."

With quality as good as that, they 'could' have been foo fighters, or they could have been just about anything else in the night sky! :sk
"Superstition created all the gods and angels, all the devils and ghosts, all the witches, demons and goblins, gave us all the augurs, soothsayers and prophets, filled the heavens with signs and wonders, broke the chain of cause and effect, and wrote the history of man in miracles and lies" ~ Robert Green Ingersoll
