John also had recurring dreams in which he met Extra Terrestrials, and once gave a graphic discription of one to his friend, Yuri Gellar, describing a light at his window then aliens approaching his bed, with huge eyes and along arms and fingers.
I beleive he only saw one UFO awake.

"Strawberry Fields Forever," I have read, was about a Salvation Army which Lennon knew of.

People only care about Lennon seeing a UFO because he's famous. If anyone else had experienced the same thing, no one would care.
And Mr Ed, what's wrong about seeing UFO's? And being "at risk of making out john lenon's musical success being down to his UFO 'experience'" is not a bad thing. Everyone needs inspiration. Lennon had written many more songs than "Strawberry Fields Forever" and "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds". We'll never know what really gave him the inspiration, he's dead.

Im sure he must have talked about what inspired him...its not all inspiration either- he was a musical genius...
I think it is a 'bad thing' being at risk of putting his whole musical career down to his UFO experience/s. I personally feel it is ridiculous.
I am not a hardcore skeptic even if I have portrayed myself this way.
