Hi, does anybody remember a tv series called Dark Skies? At least I think this it what it was called.
It started around the same time as the X-Files, and only ran for a couple of series/seasons, as I remember it.
I think it was set in the late 1940's/50's just after the Roswell incident.
It had a guy in it called Eric something.
Anyway, any info would be appreciated, as I wanna see if it's out on DVD.

I forget which year this came out - mid 90s I guess. But although it started in the 40s (with Roswell etal) the plan was to gradually bring it closer to current time over the series, ending with the final episode, set on 31st December 1999, which it was intended to broadcast on 31st December 1999......
Except the series was cancelled after the first season. So we never got find out what would happen when the aliens finally invaded.
Had it not been cancelled, presumably there'd also have never been a seven of nine in Voyager and then that disgrace to the Star Trek universe might have been cancelled sooner instead

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Wasn't there something that was gray and could melt or something?

Outstanding show. Taks place in the 60's and dealt with Majsetic. It made both Kennedy assassinations linked to UFOs. The lead character was John Lonegard who was reluctantly recruited by thehead of MJ12, Capt Bach. OK I was hooked on it.

I remember it being on but, I missed the whole season. It was on at a bad timeslot for me. They tend to kill most shows that could end up being pretty good. Remember "Space: Above and Beyond"? I really liked that one, killed after one season.
