now that all the furore has died down about faked lunar landings i would like to conduct a poll to check your opinions. I think some of them were fakes but some were real
the ones that were fakes were later when they realised that they could make
more money by selling a film than building a spacecraft. My mom and dad went
bananas over the lunar landings and bought tea-towels and mugs and even tee-shirts and that sort of stuff. we still have a full bottle of 60's bubble-bath in the shape of
a lunar lander. crikey, i mean we even had all that silver wallpaper and those awfull
slippers and pyjamas. we've still got most of the plates and that kind of thing but we can't bear to look at them ever since that buzz aldrin (i think it was buzz - could have been luke) said he never went there.

Buzz Aldrin said he never went to the moon? Where did you hear this? Are you referring to Bart Sibrel's despicable attack on Aldrin? Aldrin refused to swear on a Bible that he went to the moon as Sibrel idiotically demanded. Of course Aldrin refused. He refused to have anything to do with that moron Sibrel and had to punch out the jerk when he wouldn't leave Aldrin alone. Unless you can give us a link to a reputable site showing that Aldrin says he never went to the moon,
stop insulting that courageous hero!See this:

http://www.badastronomy.com/bad/misc/sibrel.htmlSibrel is a LIAR. Don't take anybody's word on important issues. Check things out yourself. Look at sites that mirror your general point of view and also look at sites you don't agree with. Weigh the pros and cons and make up your own mind rather than letting somebody else tell you what to believe. If you hear something that sounds difficult to believe, do LOTS of checking before you believe it.
I recommend this site for specific questions and for general advice on how to consider information:

The universe is glorious beyond human comprehension. Why add spirits and gods? Just because we don't know how something happened doesn't mean that a god is needed to explain it.
