Pick any ONE song that you listen to that calms you.

Mine:

"Sweet Dreams" - Marilyn Manson

"Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away." ~Philip K. Dick

"Passion, peace. Strength, knowledge. Power, serenity. Victory, harmony. Freedom, the Force." ~Ashara Zavros

  • Sometimes we just need someone smaller.

Lakmé by Leo Delibes (its an opera)
What a wonderful world by Louis Armstrong
Somewhere over the rainbow
Le Sud by Leo Ferrer (French song)
J'envoie valser by Zazie (French song)

These are the 5 songs that can keep me calm.

L'imagination n'est pas le mensonge (Daniel Pennac, Messieurs les enfants).

Sometimes I feel like i'm invisible. there's allways somebody to walk on my feet and to tell me "Sorry, I didn't see you". It's not funny to be a small person. But I'm proud of myself.

I love that song. wub.gif

I have several "calm" songs, but the one that really does it is The Longships by Enya. So peaceful... ph34r.gif

Does anyone have a "cry" song? Mine is Dance with My Father by Luther Vandross. Just listen to it, you'll see why it makes me cry. sad.gif

Can't just pick one. I'd say most of 2pac's songs such as Dear Mama Changes Uncoonditional Love. Kanye West-  Hey Mama, Bring Me down. There's a lot.

Metallica - Nothing Else Matters

Very calm, and soothing at the start, but by the time the solo kicks in, its an emotional venting.

Either Led Zeppelin "Stairway To Heaven"
or Styx "Suite Madam Blue"

As we go through this life reaching, striving, and straining for life's brass ring, has any of us ever stopped to wonder just who is running the Merry-Go-Round?
You must play the hand that life deals you, if you dealt the hand to yourself you must play that hand silently .
