I stand corrected on the name of the tabloid...  original.gif

wacko.gif i think maybe the reasons noone can tell you exactly what is going on with extra terrestrial life and stuff is because they don't know either...i think thats why the theory of the day keeps changing...EVERYONE is still learning. Who said all these alien life forms had to breathe oxygen? What about the microbes that live far (miles) underground on Earth and breathe sulfur and eat zinc? I don't think it's fair to say that there could be no life because life forming conditions do not exist, just because they do not exist for humans does not mean "something else couldn't", thats my philosophical/scientific 2c for the day.....lol

What if life on Mars isn't carbon based? Maybe it's based on silica or iron and we thinking as carbon based beings aren't thinking in those terms. Just pondering what I've read and the conversations I have had with others.  thumbsup.gif

"According to the Drake Equation, from a statistical point of view it`s possible that because of the evolutionary process that`s taken place throughout the Universe, there are earth-type planets where civilisations are migrating. Over 100 exo-solar planets have been discovered so far, and that is just in the last several years.

So there is a chance that we may have interstellar probes coming here"

source: ufomag (sep 2003 uk edition)
from an interview by ufo magazine with Eamonn Ansbro,M.Ast.,FRAS,director of the Kingsland Observatory in Ireland.

Scientist Eamonn Amsbro is a world renowned Astronomer  who specialises in the field of Optical SETI (OSETI)

So I see no reason why Mars was not once like this but greenhouse gases building up destroyed its once flourishing oceans and/or why it will not evolve into a world like the Earth in years to come. All life has to start somewhere.

Yeah, I was reading in the new york times 2 days or so ago that life on other panets exist at microscopic levels and that they are not carbon based.

The moment you are born you begin to die. The lesson is life is unfair.

I'm pleased to see that the NY times jounalists had such an amazing scoop and found out there is life on other planets  - now the scientists and space agencies no longer have to bother.

There probly was life on mars, may still be. A russian satelite relaying information back disappeared mysteriously while photographing a cigar shaped shadow on the planet in the 80's. The shadow appeared to be closing in on the satelite. If you saw the Alternative 3 show you saw a military UFO landing on the surface and capture footage of a creature crawling under the ground. Plus the Mars rover mysteriously stopped after capturing images that might of been alien.  Space Machines conviently stop when something strange appears. I don't think that we are getting the whole truth from the news and our goverments.

Does anyone remember seeing or reading about those occurences about mars?

In the course of the coming week, the orbit of Mars Express will be gradually adjusted in order to prepare for its scientific mission.

"The arrival of Mars Express is a great success for Europe and for the international science community. Now, we are just waiting for a signal from Beagle 2 to make this Christmas the best we could hope for," said David Southwood, head of Esa's science directorate.

I wonder if mars express will unexpectedly stop working original.gif i would bet on it, shouldnt be long now. MMH seems some of my predictions in august where not far off.

Oh Beagle 2 seems to have disappeared. ofcourse thats the real interesting one for me as it was going to actually land on mars. OH I AM SO SURPRISED. Beagle 2 seems to have vanished. I would never have thought LOL.
Anyway i guess if they decide to let it appear again we will see bugger all anyway.
Yes i am awaiting the signal from beagle 2 with high expectations NOT.
Im sure the powers that be will make sure they only show us what they want us to see if they decide to bring beagle 2 back on line that is. I wonder what frequency Beagle is on now? original.gif

Oh dear, us poor conspiracy theorists and been kept busy this week.
