....hmm well i'm afraid I can't do that.....I can't prove it....but then i'm not talking about the kind of magic where you turn men into rats.....oh wait, don't need magic to do that anyway *lol* ....kidding......I mean the kind of magic that is deep within us all.....to protect, to heal, to nurture....magic isn't about flashy spell casting....I just know in my heart it's real, I have no proof to offer you.....

Hi Sorcerer

I too believe in magic.  Much of what is thought of as magic is sleight of hand or psychological manipulation.  However, there are things in this world that go beyond explanation - the beauty of the dawn or a glorious sunset, the smile of a grateful child, even love is a kind of magic (cue Queen playback!)  Personally, I believe that it is this genre of magic which sustains us and gives our lives quality.  There is even magic in art, (even Tracey Emmins' and Damien Hurst's!)

Could you envisage a world without these things?  I experience magic every day, do you?

Congrats by the way Sheffpud - let us know if it's a boy or a girl!

Come on you say you believe in magic yet neither of you have given any proof, or experiences of it.

The magic of a sunset or a childs smile is not what the question was about. I think its magic when I pass wind, but that still doesn't count.

Is there a true Witch or Warlock out there who can answer a great question.

I can't but then I've had never been a warlock.

I'm only a cheeky little Devil.

Sorcerer,

Another one? You are  just unstoppable! I suggest that you go to Google and type "magic" or "wicca". Or go to this site:

Do Odin and Sorcerer know each other?  they both come from the same area, are the same gender and the same age or..................could they be one and the same person?

That would be magic, being two people and yet one at the same time.

Odin

Indeed I had noticed the difference in the English but I thought it was part of the "magic"
you are both to be congratulated, not only on your written English, but the way you understand so well.  I have several Dutch friends and they all speak perfect English with American accents (all the American tvfrom a very early age, I am told).

I hope the Odin and Sorcerer separation isn't too painful and you will be both able to continue posting!
