"Imagination Is More Important Than Knowledge." - Einstein
The BibleCode is a system of cross-referencing letters in the Bible that is alleged to be able to decode certain prophesies, the most famous (and pretty much the only one found prior to the actual event) being the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin. The only problem is that one can use it to find pretty much any message that one wishes in any book of sufficient length. That's the magic of numbers at work. When this was pointed out to Michael Drosnin, creator of the BibleCode, he responded:
"When my critics find a message about the assassination of a prime minister encrypted in Moby Dick, I'll believe them."
Here then, are several predictions foung in Moby Dick. One can also find them in other novels such as Les Miserables, and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
im christian and i dont know much about the BibleCode...but i feel that we dont have the right to know the future unless God commands us or shows us himself like he did to John in Revelations
What is my time wrinkle like you ask. Well i will tell you. It is like my mind. The very thing that keeps my body alive. What does it do you ask. It allows me to escape the sanity of this world. How did I come by it you ask. It was always there. Mine from the begining, but you cant have one. Not unless you are unique enough. You can find pretty much anything you want if you can find a book long enough. Since all you're doing is trying to find a mathematical formula that will create a pattern that will eventually by luck find something that appears as a prophecy. I'd need it to predict something really big before it happened before I'd give it any credence. Sides the fact that they're using an english translation of the hebrew bible to find english names is kind of rediculous don't you think?
I don't believe that whatever "code" the Bible gives is just non-sence. The BibleCode gives a mystical effect to the Bible. The Bible wasn't written to be a mystical or magical thing; just a message. I do, however, have the BibleCode program on my computer. Every now and again, when I am bored, I put in keywords and search the Bible for the Code containing those words. It's interesting what I find. But there is nothing magical to it.

Some of the predictions found in the biblecode don't come true_such as the one about a terrorist attack on that famous Australian bridge. The date for that has come and gone and no attack. We didn't even hear about a thwarted attack.
There's a new prediction from the biblecode, now, it is_ Laura Bush will be killed in mid September or October 2004. (Something about a helicopter being shot down)
