If you can't find anything on it, chances are it's nothing more than fictional.

I think you mean, Al-Aqsa. This is a jewish mosque that is built OVER the ruins of the Temple of Solomon.

Out of the dusk a shadow,
Then, a spark
Out of the cloud a silence,
Then, a lark
Out of the heart a rapture,
Then, a pain
Out of the dead, cold ashes,
Life again.

I believe every qualified expert has stated the retaining wall is from Herod's temple, and the descriptions in Joesphus of Herod's temple seem to confirm this. This is not to say that there could have been an older retaining wall, but I doubt it. Herod made the temple compound much larger that the orgiginal of Solomon, because he created a huge portico around it in the tradition of Hellenistic culture which had inundated Judea for three centuries by then. Without this greek style portico, the retaining wall would have been pointless.

You are right to be suspisious about the lyric from immortal technoique tune, yhis is a deep guy. What was found underneath the temple were scrolls that were written just after the death of christ and were hiden under solomons temple and around Jerusalem and caves around the dead sea. It is not only the treasure that is of importance, what is causing concern is what is written on these scrolls. According to their version of events, the Knights uncovered the original records of the Jerusalem Church and they proved that the Vatican was not practising Christianity as its founders intended. For example, a pope with exclusive rights of divine interpretation was not part of G-d's plan. If the scrolls were made public, they would jeopardize Rome's legitimacy. Today digging contines on the site, carried out by the PLO. The PLO is after not only the treasures buried beneath the Temple to deplete their morally and financially bankrupt regime of terror but must be looking for more scrolls that can be used to blackmail the Vatican and thus get their way in world diplomacy.

Dats da facts, big up technique!!! ph34r.gif

If you want some really good information about the Temple then look up The Da Vinci code. Yes i know about the myths around the book etc but some of the details are quite astonishing.

I live about 40 miles from Rosslyn Chapel, and i swear, it nearly is a duplicate for the temple!!!!

Shadowhunter, you are aware that much of the DaVinci Code was made up and very little of it has any references - making it useless as a "fact" book, don't you?

Yes i am aware, but there is still quite a lot of fact surrounding the mysteries as well.

For example,

The knights templars - fact
Da Vinci's brilliant codes - fact
etc etc etc

Depending on how much you believe, and how much you know, depends on what you can figure out.

When the book first came out the Vatican created such a stir about it for absaloutly no reason. There has been other books, who say worse things about the catholic church and got away with it. But no, why cause this much of a ruckus when you dont have anything to hide?

Yes, there are some errors in the book, but most of the research is fact and i believe at the back of the Illistrated edition there is actually a list of the books used for research.

With my fiance being RC and me being prodastant and into wicca, the church want me to renounce both of them and become catholic when im married. im like, eh no mate, ya burned my ancestors with your Dominican Monks, ye aint getting me.

Sounds like some interesting stuff... if said scrolls exist, I'd love to see what happens if they got out : )
Reality: Arranging various words into a “profound” statement does not make the statement a fact, no matter how credible the source.

I'm absolutely amazed at just how many people still believe in FANTASY when they are proven by science to be incorrect.
