Marijuana is a schedule 1 hallucinogen, the most powerful class of hallucinogens. One of the prerequisites is that for a substance to be a schedule 1, it has to have NO medicinal properties what so ever. I just find it funny that about 14 U.S. states have passed laws saying marijuana can be used for medicinal purposes, and doctors in those states can prescribe the herb. I think this is as blatant a contradiction as I've seen from our government. Too bad the people don't stick up for themselves.........

Alcohol, cigarettes, even caffiene is worse for your body than THC. In all reality, THC is NON Toxic to the body. For info on all types of substances, visit erowid.org the place is loaded with information and links.

Oh we do! And we are burned alive , shot, imprisoned, etc... for our troubles that does nothing to change things because those tactics applied by the masses without the cash to afford lobbyists on their behalf, imagine(d) that we the people could freely assemble and lend voice to the government we were told we empower! Well yes, if you are rich or connected you certainly do. If not, you suffer and die and provide an excuse for that government to exist so as to keep the peace.
It's a razor dance , danced to the background score of; fuc you !
And we thought slavery was dead!
Nooooo. The master just changed his mask and the shackles are now titled; tax payer!
It's like that fashion newspeak BS. "Grey is the new black" If it weren't grey it would be black! That's why black is grey but grey is not black! Give me a break, public school dumbing down education is actually holding sway in our society! We're doomed!

IF - You're right. Just remember, don't speak for everybody, most people, I'm assuming based on how the socially accepted view on marijuana isn't a positive one, would disagree with your post. I, on the other hand, see exactly what you're saying, and we are doomed.

You can find smokers in all kinds of places here from Policemen(I have smoked with an off-duty cop, not an on-duty one...yet) to teachers(Smoked with a teacher also) to construction workers. Me and some friends have gotten caught smoking a few times by cops(County Sheriffs and Town Police) and have been let off every time. They usually just take your stuff(so they can smoke it lol) or even let you keep it and tell you to get going. And no, I don't live in Canada, I live in the states.

^^Where do you live? I'm from NW ohio, and let me tell you, marijuana is the devil in my parts. And what's even more funny, most people around here are country folk, rednecks. If they really knew anything about true country folks, they would know that smoking weed is part of their culture/tradition. Ask Hank Williams, or Johnny Cash, well, if you could.

Moderation in all things is always a good rule to follow. Low content alcohol is not the same at all as high content alcohol. Low content THC produced cleanly and free of toxins might not be so very terrible, if the effects were mild and did not last over thirty minutes, similiar to the effects of one drink of low content alcohol.
Happy Easter Kak.

I am from Vancouver, Canada, and cops here are like anywhere else, but i think that they are somewhat more enlightened on this issue than other places. Some coppers just let you go because you believe it's legal; all cops are not like this however......... By the way, Reincarnated and Greendude Happy Easter 2! LEGALIZE IT!!!
Believe it or not in Vancouver, British Columbia, we had a provincial political party called the "Marijuana Party"... and i voted for it.... but since it got so much votes.... the Bush administration set a meeting with our Prime minister to Bring it down... After all these years its gone

You just cannot compare a nice glass of wine to bathtub gin, yet in a way that is exactly what they are doing when they use illegal marajuana as an example of what legalized and controlled marajuana would be like.

the human body was not designed with drinking alcohol in mind, no one who is drinking alcohol is regarding the body as a temple...The non drinking rule non smoking rule would apply...although lots ingest poiisons in the body is not the same as some things should be moderate....some things should be not at all.......sheesh....

basically tha tthe body isn't menat to ingest alcohol, its a poison the same as cigarettes and the best is stay away from it......In my perrception i see the use of alcohol or cigarettes as harmful to the human organism.....Maybe Pot may have good use in moderation but often those that use it don't use it moderately, it will lead to memory loss and lung issues, this was told to me by a pot smoker who has smoked everyday for 35 years around the clock...

I think that marijuana can and does help with many physical and mental ailments.
I want to do some research to find out if it lowers blood pressure and/or sugar levels.
Could be one of the reasons a person gets the 'munchies' after partaking.
I believe the pharmacy companies will fight legalization tooth and nail because of it's potential to treat so many heath problems thus taking money out of their greedy pockets for man made drugs.
If anyone knows what marijuana does to the sugar and blood pressure levels, please PM me as I'd like to write an article on it sometime.
Cannabis increases metabolism hence the munchies
