the mushroom clouds are super cells. those are usually very intense thunderstorms, often producing heavy rains, strong winds, hail, and some tornadoes. if you see a big mushroom cloud like one of those, it'd probably be a good idea to head for shelter unless you'd like to go to oz.

oh! and as a quick thought, here are a couple of cloud pictures that i've taken... nothing unusual, just kind of neat...
