The Devil is the king of deception. Of course he could have told this kid he was God, and to kill. The real God is not a vengeful god, but a loving and compassionate God.

God will never tell a person to kill another, the Devil will. Usually they work through Half-Breeds. Half-Breeds can be on Earth, they give us a nudge, sometimes good, sometimes bad. Seems to me like the deceiver is doing fairly well in this world.
if the devil made him do it, why put him in jail?

Its possible this child was in communication with an Evil Spirit who told him he was God.
Remember the man who shot Dr. Martin Luther King told people God told him to Kill Dr. King.
Again its possible that a voice from the After Life kept hounding both of these people and kept telling them he was God and finally they carried out these Crimes.
This is how some Evil Spirits control people.
The Bible talks about Spirits like this and they still can speak from the Spirit World and control others to do their Dirty Work.

Or more likely he was mentally unstable, he probably was schizophrenic and psychopathic, two commonly linked mental diseases.

Wow messed up boy, truly sad. I know he said he killed her cuz she stood in his way-but what's the need for 111 stabbings. Or was the whole 'God asked me to' thing made up after he got thru his rush in the moment and realized 'wtf did i just do'. If so, I would have to say he's somewhat mental. This boy obvisouly has no concious.

There is no such thing as a mental illness.

Isn't there something in the US Constitution about religious freedoms?

I think this boy should not be charged with anything.

So it is OK to stab your Mum 111 times when she grounds you??? I am not up to speed with the US constitution but I would like you to show me where it states it is OK to murder someone?

The boy said he was on a mission from God... why do these freaks always blame someone else.. put him in a chair and fry him.

  • Who put such a high price on being typical?

someone has to be really screwed up to stab their mother. maybe she was abusing him also? something to mess him up, what happened to the father? etc.

other then that, i think he might have just watched frailty too many times.

If more had my view on god, the kid would already be dead.

Religious freedoms only as long as they do not infringe on another person's rights, which is why you can't have human sacrifices.
