Why would anyone do this? 20 years of work all down the drain? This guy is acting like a six year old who is mad because his friends are making fun of santa claus.

I think this guy only did this for publicity.. why else? I just can't believe someone would throw 20 years of their life away.. it angers me. angry.gif

If you truly believe in UFO's and other activity.. you wouldn't just give up and burn all your work like a fool. (or atleast I wouldn't)

I mean, that is 20 YEARS of research.. a world of knowledge that is just gone to waste because he was fed up with unbelievers.

What are your thoughts?

The person in question is not and never was a genuine UFO researcher; his personal evidence amounted of countless hours of video footage of aircraft, stars etc... He has also been involved in various other 'investigations' of UK UFO events - which amount to collecting anecdotes and claiming these to be evidence - recent statements and claims on the Berwyn Mountains (non)event are featured elsewhere on these forums. Insulting and threatening other researchers come high in his list of 'qualities'. Yep, he's a self-publicist.

I see what your saying.. This guy isn't a huge loss to the UFO research community in general, but what a dumb reason to dump 20 years of your life and hardwork.
