This thread is beginning to go a little off topic. Would it be a good idea to start a new thread on astrophotography and let this thread get back to more general photography?

I'm quite happy to go with the flow and see what others think, although an astrophotography thread either here in the Hobbies and Interests subforum or in the Space & Astronomy forum might not be a bad idea and might encourage people with telescopes to share their pictures in the same way that this thread has with general photography.

That reminds me...Does anyone else take pictures while scuba diving? I would love to see those pictures. I only snorkel, and don't have an underwater casing..

nice result from an underwater cam, was it a good camera in a waterproof housing or a disposable underwater type..

my sister was on a long world trip and i saw some of her underwater pics from a disposable type camera, it was ok but quite unclear unlike yours.

i hear housings are pretty expensive but if you trust yourself enough you can make them :S!

Thanks jonb, it was taken form my digital camera using a water proof casing, they are a little expensive but it works. I  have seen advertisment of a new type of water proof digital camera getting around now, but their prices are a bit high at the moment so hopefully in a few years they will be cheaper.

The sunset reminds me of fishing charters...I posted a similar picture earlier in this thread...

The fish pics remind me of my Marine Aquarium...

Now this ais a Chinaman Fish a non eating fish I throw back, but it is big fish though.
