Does anyone have these dreams? Do they reoccur?

Had dream of my departed loved one calling me on the phone. Was struck by how clear and vivid her voice was. First told her how happy I was to hear her voice. Loved one was so much like herslf, so much so.......I could not have imagined this in my head, just not possible. I told her I missed her and how much I loved her. Typical response by her, so much like her............ We conversed briefly but I interrupted her to ask, "Where are you?" I knew in the dream she had passed, I was trying to elicit a response from her as to where she was. At this point my partner startled in bed and woke me up. Partner said I asked loudly in my sleep, 'Where are you?"

Anyone else have phone conversations with the dead in their dreams? Will I have more? I am not inclined to such sites as this but was so befuddled by this bright, startling and mystifying dream I found this site as to find more info.. Any thoughts? Thank you.

Wow! I'd be startled too. I never had such dreams, my mother has had dreams where she's visited by family members or close friends that have passed. Never phone calls though, at least if she did she never talked about them.

Soliqioux: Do you or she think she has some pyschic connection? Do these people say things to her? What does she say about these experiences?

I wasn't frightened in the least during the dream. I felt really happy to hear from the loved one. What struck me was her voice, manner of expression, conversation. was just like her and very clear. Just don't think I made any of it up in my head. Just too clearly her.

I haven't had what you describe, but my wife is ever present in my dreams, even six years after she died. It's like she comes back, we start our relationship, but it never works out, obviously.
Its very real. It hasn't been scary, except for one time, not long after she died, when she lay herself down in a coffin, told me not to be such a scissy, and continued to put the lid on. That was a bit strange...

Do you think it is a phenomena or psychological?

If it is psychological do you think you need help?

Do I need help? hmm.gif

Don't know much about dreams, but as long as it's not scary, I don't mind. Maybe we both need help? hehe... original.gif

Are your dreams always the same(a reoccurring theme)? or are they vastly different every time?

Sounds like that scene in the old film Ghost (with Patrick Swayzee) where his fiance is sleeping and he starts speaking to her.

This was the first phone call from the dead for me. Had I not been completely spooked I would not have found this site (and some others) and post. The dream was so clear right down to her hesitation before her answer. I am not bright or quick witted enough to fortell a person's conversation or style, even subconsciously.

Yes, and it can be quite unsettling to say the least...but these dreams have distinct indications... This dream has several indications...It is an indication that you will receive some kind of information regarding your loved one, (perhaps a member of her family), sometime in the very near future...The info. will come by phone or by email, anywhere a phoneline is used...
The other indication, which will determine whether or not you hear from this loved one again, is that there may be something that you are doing in your life that you are not supposed to be doing; something which isn't good for you and so your loved one is trying to convey this to you. If her tone was one of happiness, then the indication is one of being pleased with your life and your decisions and so she will move on...If her tone was leaning more towards sarcasm and possible displeasure, then you will hear from her again, until the change she seeks is made.
Love doesn't die...I don't believe we do either; we just change form...This particular love is looking out for you. You are very lucky indeed! original.gif
