I was in class and i hear about an operation that you have part of your brain removed to remove all subconcious thought (so not like an abotomy) and awfter i decide to go through with it skips to class after i've had it done, i'm walking around talking but i can't think of details it was like when forget something really simple and you are kicking your self trying to remember this detail or when your trying to do a moderately hard maths problem when your tired. It was like there was a blank space in my subconcious and i couuldn't think properly i felt constraphobic and trapped.
To me that is a nightmare.

First of all I've always dreamed in colours, like we see colour in everyday life. So I don't know what people mean when they say that it's rare to do that. Or am I missing something? People (I mean those who write books or articles about it) say that everyone dreams in grey or black and white. I haven't done that. Is this true that most people dream in grey shades a lot? People mention seeing specific colours standing out. I don't notice anything like that except sometimes lots of colours glow but this happens rarely in my dreams.
Secondly, people say that you can't feel hungry in dreams. Nor can we supposedly eat or taste in dreams. Well this is wrong because I do. I've felt hungry in dreams. I've eaten food in dreams and enjoyed it. I even woke up remembering what the food tasted like. If anyone can or feels like it, explain why I dream like this.
Why do I dream differently than the norm? Or is it normal?

So many have had coloured dreams. That includes me of course. I have been curious enough to think and find out through reading a few articles online(be it legit or not, who knows). It made me feel a little bit ecstatic, probably due to their nature. Try to think openly to any shared speculations or ideas. I was a little bit skeptic at believing such articles at first but, it could be sensible. Anyway, Nightmoon, you may have been having OBE-Out of Body Experience. This is different from near death experiences. They are almost real-life experiences. You wouldn't know the difference until you are actually awake from them...that you are back to this reality. Some speculations could mean you were in a parallel timeline or universe. Peace and God bless...

I walked downstairs in my house. It was morning and I needed to get ready for school and eat breakfast. I opened the pantry and saw something like thirty boxes of Cornflakes in there! I was like, "What the heck?"
My dad came down and I asked, "Dad, what's up with all of the cereal boxes?"
He dumbly replied, "I dunno," shrugged his shoulders.
"Oh, come on!"
"Well, gee. They were on sale. I mean, we can use that stuff for a lot of things, and we need to start stocking up for the winter."
"The winter..."
He looked at me for a while and finally said, "Well, they taste good, right?"

Now I had this really real like dream the other night: I was in a strange place seemed more like another planet in another dimension or plain of existence. As I just popped into this place I was holding something like a spoon with crystals in it. They were covered with water and I was circling the crystals with my finger, had the feeling that it was the crystals that transported me there. The people that were at this other place seemed to be very relieved that I was there. Like they had been waiting for me. I soon found out they were unable to do with the crystals the things I could. They handed me what looked like rocks and I put these in another spoon like container with water and circled them with my finger. The coating of rock immediately broke apart and flew off. To my right was a black rod type crystal about 3" long with clear crystals forming a circle, with the black one as the front along with a red and blue one inside the circle. As I started to reach for this to touch it the people became agitated. "Saying what are you doing?" At the same time I reach toward it I had a feeling that if I were to touch it an enemy would be able to come and do harm. I withdrew. Then my focus was back on the crystals I had in my hands. I learned that by arranging them in certain positions I could transport to different places on other planets or back to my planet in my dimension. And this is what the people were relieved about for they were waiting for someone who could transport to other planets at will. Before they had to wait for a certain time of certain years when astrological points were just right. So as I started to circle these crystals with my finger again I woke up.
Everything was so vivid and real in this dream I was shocked. Normally my dreams are kinda hazy. Every so often I have one that seems pretty real and sometimes I have prescient dreams. ( I just wish those would tell me something like powerball or mega numbers or something substantial other than just having dejavu of being somewhere or having a conversation.)

Maybe the powerball numbers are only important to your waking mind, to your dreaming mind they are useless

First thing is, the brain does not originate the color, the color is from the object; the photons. You dream because the brain thought produces photons and it is your interpretation from the angles and shades that are cast by the photons as to what it is. When you finally shut off all outside activity and light and you drift off into REM sleep, your 'thinking center,' the ego, or the 'I' is in an area of the brain. That is why dream coaches tell you if you want to dream about a certain thing or get some answers to something, try to make that the last thing you are thinking about when you drift off to sleep. In that way, you are activating the memory and the memory of colors, feelings, tastes, etc. come out. That is the most normal.

So, In the dream, I was n this competition. It was a log-cutting competition, but all I had was a little hand-saw. But then these guys in turbans holding scimitars came to help me. As they cut, I noticed that they were all identical. Then, they turned toward me and demanded "The Book of the Serpent." And when I ran, they summoned this ten story giant to attack me. However, my mom helped me escape. At our house, another giant came, so we were forced to flee. For some reason, we went to my grandparents' old house, and all four of my grandparents were there, even the one who was dead. They explained they were part of this "Order of the Serpent," whose duty was to protect this book from the forces of evil. If the forces of evil found the Book of the Serpent, they would be able to control the world serpent, Ourobos, and take over the world. Then they entrusted the book to me. For some reason, my parents took me and my brother back to my house and left me there. Once they were gone, the devil came to my house. He looked like count Dracula with horns. I was able to convince him that I did not have the book, so he sat down on my sofa and, while smoking cigarettes and drinking liquor, watched Spanish soap operas. Then, theis army man came and helped us escape. When he found out we had escaped, the devil guy blew up the house. I had the book in my pocket(it fit somehow)and we ran to this ar. There were these men in dark suits there, and one said "Get in if you dare" I looked at the devil-guy who was flying over the trees, blowing stuff up, and I dared.

OK, so I know what partly induced this one, but it was still pretty weird. In Biology last Monday we watched a video about intensive farming.
Then the following night I had a dream which was set in the Harry Potter universe, during Deathly Hallows (so war time). It was all a bit dystopian. I worked at the local Tesco (despite this being HP universe), which looked like normal on the outside, except inside it was an intensive hospital! All the beds and other equipment were stuffed into the place, and to make matters weirder, all the staff there were the cast of Scrubs.
Not going to be around much in the next week or so. Exams- boo!
And I would have stayed up with you all night,
Had I known how to save a life... ♥

So, I was walking down the hallway of a dark building. Then, I looked in this office, and on a desk was this little girl crying. Around her there were these other people. Then, her mother came in and said "Granpa's been found. But he's dead!"
I left that room, and suddenly a skeleton was jumping out at me! But I blinked and it was gone.
Then I went home, and watched the news. There was this story on "Reporter [name I forget] is investigating an old chinese tomb where an old man was found dead." Then, this greed skeleton-ghost with a sword appears and massacres the reporter and her camera crew.
Scariest dream I ever had.
