I think the original translation of the symbols speaks for itself:
linked-image

Its no doubt that each symbol represents a letter which spells out "Forty feet below two million pounds are buried" just as shown in the illustration. It makes perfect sense and is very logical. Its almost impossible thats its just by chance it can be decoded like that..

I am to assume that either you are Oakster or that you have not read the other threads he has started.

huh ? what? no im not oakster.. as far I understood from this thread he claims the translation of the symbols say something completely different about tunnels and stuff. I am saying that the original translation, as in the old usual one I mentioned above and not oaksters version, makes more sense. And its very unlikely that it means something else than what it clearly shows.

Why for some reason when I look at the over head b&w photograph on your main page does it appear like a human brain? The left and right lobes and the hippocampus, the lines separating all three. Dunno why I saw that.

Further examination leads me to also say lungs and a heart.

I, too, am fascinated with this modern marvel. I hope the Oak Island mystery is solved soon.

darkbreed,

I hadn't seen the actual code before - thanks for posting that. Don't want to be a spoilsport but the first 'word' of the code doesn't seem to follow the same logic as the rest if you use the original translation. For example all the code words have the same number of code letters as there translated counterparts - except the first. The code letters corresponding to the translation also aren't in the correct order (the code 'O' is the third letter - it is the second in 'forty'). Could this word be a misspelling? That would be ironic.

Or it's a different word and the translation is wrong...

I'm not saying the oakster is correct, but he could be partially correct in that the original translation is not true.

Hi
the symbols that were to be found in the money pit, were meant to be read descriptivly, well the crossed out triangle may mean "second triangle"  the first triangle symbol means triangle. So the symbol text reads; Triangles, second Triangle Divides South/North Triangles Right angle triangles are inverted
ie.. The oak Island stone triangle and the Birch Island triangle are inverted to each other and are right angle to each other and  both triangles are of center to the left . it's this concept that lead to birch Island triangle among other evidence

It's said that after 7 deaths due to digging for the treasure, the treasure itself will be find. The last I heard there have been 6. I don't know a lot about this strange archeaological mystery and ingenuity, but it certainly is one of the most fascinating and still unsolved mysteries of the last 500 years.

Actually, there have been eight.

And, just out of curiosity; has anyone been to mahone bay?

I actually live 40 mins from Mahone Bay. To tell you the truth it's a pretty uneventful place,
where we usually go if we want to get a REALLY large beer.

Birch's Island Treasure Triangle

The triangle is divided the same as with the Oak Island stone triangle.

Go figure' this is very interesting, and what is the meaning of the triangle. ie The triangles that were on the stone tablet, the Oak Island stone triangle, and now the triangle that is on Birch Island, recently discovered two Island east of Oak Island' By Keith Ranville.
