The other night after seeing 11:11 for the millionth time, I flicked on the TV and I saw something that kind tickled me into thinking...maybe.

Could 11:11 possibly be a binary code symbol for us to pay attention to?

Decimal number 3 is binary 11


so then could is be 33? 33 Is a master number. It's also the atomic number for Arsenic

Lots of possiblities here.

It's not me specifically.
But, well, you know how much of a skeptic i am to such things. For good reason i find. I usually explain these little things off as the mind picking up on certain patterns, and as such it will remember a number pattern, such as 11:11 more than it will seeing any other time, which is why these specific numbers stick out to us more.

But a close friend of mine, man, she she's 11 eveywhere. Not just 11:11, although that happens frequently. But there's more to it. Generally she'll notice like, there's 11 people in her group, or she'll see somethign significantly 11, and then something happens, like the number 11 was a pre warning. Not just frequently, but all the time. It's utterly bizarre, and i've found myself absolutely lost on how to explain such events. Coincidence, it certainly seems. But the probability of a coincidence happening so much, over and over, is in itself a bizarre concept.

But what would be the purpose? I guess that's where I start to wonder. I mean I have no doubt it could happen, but why? For what design? That's where the big questions come in....

i think im going to go with the human brain picking up patterns explaination. i say this because i also notice when it is 3:33 or 1:11 and so on however now i notice when it is 12:51. thats a title from a stroke's song so i think it's just normal to be accustomed to recognising these things more then the other thousand times you see what time it is.

I really couldn't say. I have absolutely no explaination for her weird #11 coincidences at all, including the whys or hows. It's utterly bizarre to me, especially concidering i've never really applied much thought to the idea that it could be anymore than what greeneyedoll said, just patterns in the mind. But the situation is constant. Just last night, i hadn't looked at a clock in hours, and i was talking to her on the phone, then we hung up. Then there was somethign else i wanted to mention, so i just sent her a text message. She calls me back: 'You know, you sent that message at 11:11. Again.'
lol. *shrugs* She just always seems to get things, see things, or have things relating to the number 11.

I guess I am as off on this thing as I am with everything else. I always seem to look at a clock when it is 7:11 at least once a day. I used to work at a store named 7-11 Liqour and my birthday is July 11th.
And i am still unlucky as hell.

When my OCD was at it's worst I have a thing about adding numbers. I add them constantly and count things all the time. I used to do it a lot worse than I do now and I find myself doing it more when I'm stressed. Anyway the point of me saying this is that I see numbers everywhere. I used to see numbers even in words so I've never had the phenomenon that you guys are speaking of.
