The Chupacabra or Chupacabras is a creature said to inhabit parts of the Americas. It is associated particularly with Puerto Rico, where it was first reported, and Mexico. The name, which translates literally from Spanish as "goat-sucker", comes from its reported habit of attacking and drinking the blood of livestock.

Would be nice to know if the skeletons remains were ever determined to an unknown species and also the hair samples.

I watched a special on the Chupacabra and how sightings are spreading across South America.

Does anyone know what the tracks or dropping might look like of a chupacabra?

I have had strange animal droppings in my backyard. They resemble goat or pellet style feces, however the back yard is completely fenced in with 8 foot concrete walls. Remember I live in Central Mexico.

Why do you have 8-foot concrete walls in your backyard? Are you paranoid?

I wouldn't mind having 8-foot walls in my backyard. No one comes in unless I say so. And call before you come so I can disable the booby traps, but you only have 15 minutes.

Heh. But I seriously wouldn't mind having 8foot concrete walls. happy.gif

I don't get this vid...it's showing stills of a chupacabra on a roof, saying its from 2001...
Are we supposed to think its real? Or is it just an artist conception from 2001? What exactly are we looking at in this video? Speculation, hommage to the concept artists, novelty, or evidence? All of those things are ok...but it makes it look like this video is having an identity crisis and I just don't know what to think of it.

The "chupacarba on the roof" is just so obviously CG, and most of what is in this video isn't any kind of proof. Its showing me hair LABELED as unknown, or chupacabra hair..but so what? Anyone could cut their hair off, or use fake or animal hair, and label it as cupacabra hair and put it on the internet.

Hey does anyone know where I could get the "Unsolved Mysteries" segment on the Chupacabra? It's not in any of the DVD sets, would've been nice though.
