Does anyone have any information or pictures on the Naree Pons plants. They are said to resemble people. I have seen a couple not many and they do look like people but of course they are plants. I think I am spelling this right. rolleyes.gif[Emoticons]

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Naree Pons are supposedly Thai pod people that appeared to Buddha as beautiful women while he meditated in a secluded area. They disappeared and left a humanoid pod form behind on a nearby tree. There are supposedly two Naree Pon pods in a Thai temple near Bangkok in Thailand.

This "pod-people" thing gets me thinking of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers"... Or wasn't there this really cheesy b-flick called the Pod people, didn't it air on MST3K, or am I mistaken? Think it was absolutely awful...

Yes. Yes it. Here's the featureskit/song from Pod People.

Idiot Control
(from Episode 303 - Pod People)

Joel: Alright, alright, let's do it again. You come in late, girls, again, and you're out! Alright. From the top.

(music starts, singing) With a pickle mine
We kicked the nipple beer
Steady as we go
We're flying over trout
Gatto down the highway
At the speed of light
All I wanna feel now
Is the wind in my eyes
Sack of monkeys in my pocket
My sister's ready to go!

All: (Gypsy repeatredly comes in late) Hear the engines roll now.
Idiot control now.
Hideous control now.
Needy on the road now.
Needy in control,
Wheels on fire,
Burning rubber tires!

[Deep 13]

Dr. F: (at recording console) He's pretty good!

Frank: Good? He's the best!

[SOL]

All: Near each other rolls now.
He really likes to go now.
Needy inches bow down.
Pity and a po boys!
Here the engine roar
Bees on pie
Burning rubber tires!

[Deep 13]

Dr. F: (to Joel) Great! Pretty good! What do you think?

[SOL]

Joel: (giving O.K. sign) It STINKS!
