From time to time, I'll be uploading some Discovery Channel - A Haunting episodes.

A Haunting in Connecticut

When the Parker family moved into a Connecticut rented home in 1986, they were faced with crucifixes, coffin keys and toe tags; they had just moved into a former funeral parlour. They packed away all the funeral paraphernalia but this did not keep the spirits at bay and within a couple of months, the children told their mother that they often saw three men by their beds at night.Mr and Mrs Parker endured frightening experiences, such as hearing funeral music and seeing doors open and shut without reason. The encounters only got worse - Mrs. Parker witnessed her niece fighting off an attack by an unseen intruder while she lay in bed. Mr and Mrs Parker, at their wits’ end, hired a controversial couple who specialise in the supernatural. The demonologist and his clairvoyant wife attempted to rid the house of the evil spirits through an exorcism.

Here is the video in Divx format.

A Haunting In Connecticut

The Haunting of Summerwind

On the shores of West Bay Lake, Wis., a loving family meticulously restoring a home becomes prey to a supernatural presence that drives a husband to the brink of homicidal madness.

Some of you may not have a divx player so here is a link to one.

I never could understand why the parents would put their young son dying with cancer in the basement to sleep! Never made sense to me-

I'm watching Episode 17, "Ghost Soldier," right now.

Don't hang photots of spooky dead guys on your bedroom wall.

Well the boy was possessed by those demons/ghost and most "normal" adult don't believe in such things as ghost. He wanted to stay in the basement with himself, I wouldn't called wanting to stay more like forced to by that demonic entity.

Even if the photo of the soldier was posed for the show, it was still an intriguing photo. It was a good show. I'm still unsure if it was the photo that was haunted or just the perceptions of the woman who caused things. I try to keep an open mind, though.

I really try to keep an open mind, but don't insult my intelligence.

That's because it airs on the Discovery Channel and Discovery channel claims they are based on true stories. Why should he claim any different?

It just would be helpful for people to know what type of movie and/or documentary they are downloading. It just seems like common courtesy to me.

  • Faith and doubt both are needed-not as antagonist, but working side by side to take us around the unknown curve.

anonymous007,

Go to http://tviv.org/A_Haunting

Notice that this third-party website has "A Haunting" as a "paranormal documentary". Your assumption that the series "A Haunting" is a movie was what was wrong. Therefore, instead of being a bad apple, and griping to someone (when you are incorrect in your assumption), YOU do your homework first.

Dorky did a very nice thing to upload the episodes. It is too bad that mediafire removed the uploads. I would have enjoyed watching them. I will look forward to watching them on Discovery Channel when they come on.
