Hmm this really intrigues me. My friend who was from Guanajuato, also told me very similar stories about brujas, turning into lechusas, as well as many people in her family witnessing these witches. She even mentioned her sister seeing tiny witches,...I don't know about that.

She also told me her grandfather once shot one of these lechusas, and that there too a woman they knew appeared dead. I do believe the woman that was found dead (who had a reputation for being a witch) had in interest in her grandfather, and had been bothering his wife (her grama), for some time. So one night, they heard the the lechusa, and he went out and shot it, and the next morning there was the woman dead.

Isn't it weird how so many people witness the same thing, over and over again? I mean we are all skeptic, but there has to be some truth behind all this, no?

The man you see speaking there:

He's a cop, his name is Gerardo Garza, and he's describing what he witnessed in a cementery in Santa Catarina, Nuevo Leon.

"Height, hmm a meter, a meter and half tops.
Dressed as a bird, with feathers,...wearing feathers.
I was looking at it's face, wrinkled, just like an old lady,...it was an old lady.
Red eyes, black hair, what I did see was the black nails, and the hair.
What impacted me was how could it be a birds body, and with a human face".

The other video you see afterwards, was given to them by a "specialist" Thomas Amador, who's part of Ovni Club. It's a video of a strange creature flying through the hills of las Mistras??, in Monterrey.

Remarks by the broadcasters: "[That with out a doubt the video seems to portray, the aspect of a classical witch flying on a broom.] They comment on how [it's very strange, and that evidently this was not made using a computer, that you can verify the time, since you see clock on the camera keeps running. It's a video without alterations, yet you can't really see what it is. Happend May 17, 2006 at night time]"

PS. There is a another video on this same guy giving another interview to the news. It gives a few more info, on this one. He says he saw a farmer, one who lives behind the cementary, with an ax. He asked him what was going on, and the farmer told him about a lechusa/witch that he had spotted that night. Then that like at 11:00 pm the cop heard a lot of whistling, and went over to investigate etc...LOL.

I'll translate if someone really wants to know what he says, other wise I'm too lazy LOL.

Many of these stories and sightings in Mexico are true. It is said that you can bring a witch down by reciting a verse from some witchcraft book while tying knots on a string... but you must recite it correctly if you don't then you die. After this is done the witch is brought down and she is at your mercy. To release her you reverse everything, including the string.

Interesting story! I remember watching a program about UFOs that included some "flying humanoids" found in Mexico that the news was calling "Brujas".

I would love to hear more.

Hmm definetly interesting but I would ask you that if the red balls actually had lighting coming from it? ...Taking out into coincidence let me say that an aluminum door is easily breakable and why didn't the so called haunting attempt it? As you are told by other gathering a history data would be nice and it would also be good if you can remember the weather reports at that area because if there was wind strong enough then that would also cause the door to shake....

Actually they found out that the hovering thing on the vids was just a balloon.
I forgot where they said that tho... but i can find out if neccesary
but the story about the encounter sounds freaky just like the rest of the stories in this topic
