the problem is that MF seems to think he is superior, and that when someone questions his photos, they are in fact too stupid to see the truth. The think is Jon-Erik, credentials do not count as evidence, you can have the highest IQ ever, you can have doctorates coming out of every orifice in your body, the fact of the matter is that the image you present are highly questionable as to what they contain, and that perhaps, and i'm going out on a limb here, you may not necessarily always be right...

QUOTE

This might be true if you were referring to one photo.

It's true whether there is one photograph or one-thousand photographs, no matter what your personal views are on the subject, they do not alter the incontrovertible fact that the photographs might simply not show images of alien beings or bigfeet. The fact that this possibility exists can not be argued with. Your personal analysis of the photographs is an opinion, a theory; and theories can very often and very easily be wrong.

Surely the point of posting these photographs to this forum is to get other people's opinions on them. Everything i've read here suggests that you are completely unwilling to accept anyone else's point of view. I also put forward that your references to 'intelligence' and qualifications are completely irrelevant, not having done a degree or IQ test does not invalidate a person's opinion on the subject - your definition of intelligence is not a pre-requisite for expressing a valid point.

In fact it does not matter if you are the most 'intelligent' person that ever lived, the photographs you've provided are still vague and inconclusive, and are open to all manner of interpretation. If you are unwilling to accept this, then why are you trying to encourage anyone to debate the pictures in the first place ?

QUOTE

In fact, who are you? What is your name?

I don't feel that my name is relevant to this discussion. People have a right to remain anonymous on this forum, not everyone is comfortable giving out their full names to people, especially when discussing subjects like this.

[/QUOTE] Yes, yes we heard and apparently you have to go to college to be intelligent because as we all know 100% of Mensa members are college graduates, there isn't one waitress amongst them , your so clever ... thumbsup.gif

LMAO Kismit, looks like our Aries personalities are great at sarcasm too!! laugh.gif  laugh.gif You should see what other forums have to say about this guy. (Sorry MF, Im not saying whare I saw your name on another board.  tongue.gif )

I may not have a college degree, or be a part of Mensa, but I am intellegent. My IQ happens to be above 120, as well as my hubby and 3 kids do as well. Just because a person dosnt have a degree, dosnt mean that they cant have a mind of their own, or have their own opinion.

You can see what ever you want in your pics on your site, (YES, Ive been to your site too.) my opinion is, Im not impressed, and Im entitled to that opinion no matter what you have to say.

Quit worrying about what others have to say. You believe in what you want, and others will believe what they want. Thats the way the world works, so get over it.

lol...oh, I feel sorry I spent so long ignoring this topic after I looked at the pictures, and dismissed them with a 'could be anything'.

Monster finder - Yes, I do see what you're trying to point out tongue.gif However, if I so wished, I could also interpret any given smudge in that photo as Elvis, a chupa, or anything else I so desired...the picture's are so blurry they're open to interpretation, and simply circling the parts you think look like something doesn't really cut it tongue.gif

Item number two...for a person who claims to be an educated individual, working within the scientific community, you have an attitude to contraditory veiw points that goes well beyond arrogance tongue.gif If, as you say, you've been working in the field for nearly thirty years, and you still deal with critisism of your evidence like a five year old, then you must have spent the last 28 years discussing it with dithering yes men, who want to see whatever you tell them is there.

I have a suggestion for you...so please, sit down for this one...if you intend to ever have your veiws embraced by anyone except your friends...then I suggest a better way of dealing with arguements is to meet them with counter arguements. Acting like an idiot with his head in the clouds, who can do nothing but fall back on the "you're wrong because I say so!" isn't going to get you anywhere, and I struggle to imagine how you could pass even the most basic of courses with such an attitude.

No matter how passionate you are about something, if you don't have an arguement to cover any base from the opposition, then you're not even worth arguing with. If you're only way of avoiding admitting you could be wrong is "I don't like you! You use a fake name! You're a baaad man!" then please, go home.

This is great!  I think this thread should be closed before someone goes cross-eyed while scrutinizing those pictures.

At the end of the day the pictures are not clear and don't appear to prove much at all.

MS you may be well educated and everything, but we can only comment and what we see, and the pictures do not justify anything.

Cherokee Warrior you've lost your battle that's for sure, but what you left behind is still shining.

I am a moderator. I run my own forum at http://www.bigfootforums.net

the way to go is to not close a thread, but dump the bad posts, warn the poster,
and sometimes, as an extreme case, dump the poster.

I do.

MF,

I went to your site and couldn't wait to go to the message board that you run, however I got this message:

Hmmm...you are as good at moderating as you are at the scientific process. Let me explain...

When defending your photos, your final responce to people seems to be sending them to this page on your website:

That is so nice. To have so much knowledge in your field(as you claim) and to be reduced to a childish F.U. in response to criticism. That among so many other factors is why you are not taken seriuously here.

I did the same searches. I think that there is a difference between being famous and infamous. I don't think MF cares where he falls just as long as he is noticed.

You can't be sued you if it is true tongue.gif

I stand by my quote from above. He is a "junior prankster"(his words) who is doing all of the homework he can so that he may graduate to a "senior prankster".

The google results were good for a giggle. Of course his posts are all pretty funny too. He is just a funny guy I guess...Not so great at photo interpretation in my opinion; a bit of an itchy trigger finger with the little red circles if you ask me...

Of course he stopped responding to me when I would call him on different items. It seems he didn't like my handle and wouldn't respond to a person that didn't use a real name. When I did give him my real name in a reply, he stopped responding to the thread altogether. Mighty convenient. Kind of sad in my opinion if he does actually believe all of what he says and does have the background that he claims he does. To have decades of experience in a classroom and in a field in a given area of study and to have to resort to childish cursing(see http://www.beckjord.com/reply)  when confronted with an opinion different than his own.

I would hope that after 30 years in software development I don't get that way tongue.gif

Youre right, there is a diffrence between famous and infamous, and he seems a few bannanas short of the bunch.

Did you see the pic on ufo watch dog?? Do you think thats his real nose, or an alien sighting?? (Sorry for the sarcasm, but Im on a 12-18hr fast for a doctors appointment in the morning; drawing blood. Im starving, and I also have a cold, so that makes my mood a little nasty)

I guess he cant handle confrontation, thats why he stopped responding. OH well, his loss, this forums amazing, and quite fun.  thumbsup.gif  thumbsup.gif

And some of us ARE actuallly intellegent!!!!!!!!!  tongue.gif  laugh.gif  grin2.gif (j/k)
