Okay my grandma sent me these but i dont have right email so ill give some i remeber.

I found out that number 10 isn't true. I had always thought it was but it isn't.

and I fall in the number 2 catagory. Did you know your never more than 10 feet away from a spider ? ( so they say) eeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwww shudder ! sad.gif

Babies are born with 74 more bones than adults. This is because many of the babies' bones are separated by pockets of cartilage, a flexible tissue that can grow along with the child.

By adulthood, the cartilage will have turned into bone, fusing the smaller bones into large ones. This process (called ossification) ends in our early 20s.

The oft-cited "fact" that babies are born without kneecaps is not true. Infant kneecaps are made out of cartilage and don't start ossifying until the age of three in girls and at four-five in boys.

The reason for this slow development is to do with efficiency. To guarantee the best chance of your DNA reaching the next generation, it makes sense to divert energy to brain development and bodily growth first.

"Finished" bones are not needed until those processes are complete and body weight has reached its optimum.
