Uh no, a discussion entails examining or discussing a topic. Said topic in any given internet thread is assumed to be either the titular topic or one logically derived from it. This is neither. This is you begging for punishment and not knowing when to quit.

enlighten me. i think it's pretty straight forward. you stated this forum is for discussions, which, as you stated involves an examination of a topic. by definition, to examine is to observe. again, i argue it is valid discussion by nature of the definition examine.

well, actually you seem determined to hijack it, which is also against forum policy, since you're mentioning the rules. however, i really don't mind, as i'm always interested to veer where a topic leads. that is the very nature of discussion. you have such a problem with this not fitting into your idea of what a proper discussion should be, yet you are the one that digresses.
