LOL, I love fall, too, Endymion. But I was hoping it would be a little longer before coming! LOL. I will have to get my camera out and take some pictures of the trees around here. And of course, Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. It's great having a daughter so that I can still dress up!

I love Fall too !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! esp here in Michigan. a drive along the lakes while the leaves change in my old convertable pontiac was a favorite of mine ( and a great date ). the crunch of leaves not to mention the colors !!!

cuddle time outdoors in front of bon fires !!! don't forget the smores !

I love the fall too! The colours and winds and the smells in the air! It,s a great time of the year, but i also love appreciating all of the seasons and their special gifts! Fortunatly i live where i can enjoy them all!

Well where I am it is the beginning of spring, so...

Happy spring to all you aussies out there!

To celebrate it, it rained a little this morning, and we urgently need rain.

Halloween comes in the autumn too - my kids have a halloween party every year, it's great fun.

Then, when the kids are in bed and the mess is cleared away, me and my husband will sit with a drink and watch a horror movie by the light of the pumpkins... that almost sounded romantic. hehheee

Autumn is and has always been my favorite time of the year...Each day when I look out the window the trees are changing to their brilliant colors...Walkiing out in the morning, smelling the wood fireplaces, leaves crunching under my feet...It's special too because I know the holidays aren't far away. When my teenage grandchildren were little, I would have a Halloween party for everyone in their classes..This went on for six years...The house would be decorated, crazy foods and drinks, crafts...The kids would wear their costumes, and we never raked the leaves...They would play games outside, like wrapping themselves in toilet paper, the doughnut string game and others...Then we would hang two pinata's, one for the girls, one for the boys, and they would smash them and scurry for the candy...My house would be full of leaves, and left a mess, but it was so much fun....Thanks for another memory

I'm not too big on Fall. <3 But I only like it because of Halloween. And it's a little more colder & cooler than Summer. Plus it's a little break from the hot weather we've been having here.

I can't stand the winter, therefore, to me, Autumn is just one big reminder that winter is not far away, the nights close in and then I find I get more and more depressed.

I love spring and I adore the summer.

wow I forgot about Yates Cider mill - hot homemade donuts and hot or cold apple cider ( clear or homemade)

and Hay rides !! My 2 year old neice hasn't been yet !! too young for haunted hay rides in October.

And I am pretty far away from Rochester Hills ....

Fall is so beautiful - a favorite time of year.

I hate winter to. But I looove fall. It's so beautiful with all the colors and smells. And of course Halloween. Every year my boyfriend and I help our friends with the haunted hike they do on their farm. The hike starts on a board walk in front of several small buildings that we made up to be a saloon, a jail house, fortune teller's, and ours, the morgue. Martin plays the mortician and I play the dead body. We also park our hearse in front. Then there is a trail through the trees then the corn field. People come from all the little surrounding towns to walk through. There is a keg and lots of food around this huge bonfire for all who help out after we close for the night. I can't wait for this years hike.

I,m so jelous! It sounds like you all take full advantage and appreciation of the joys of fall! I,d love to be there and enjoy all the fun and excitement! It,s like the last big hurrah before the cold of winter directs you to the comforts of cozy blankets and a roaring fire place! Isn't it funny how each of us have our own favorite season...Now I cannot stand spring and summer, i'm definitely not a warm or hot weather person...Autumn yes, and Winter a definite yes...I love the cold weather, snow, ice skating, sleigh riding with the kids, and the long winter nights....That's what makes us all individuals...

for holloween I'll probably be upnorth again - my family works a haunted forest on a few acres. So I'll be passing out hot coffee
and cocoa again I guess. freezing my rear off !

I like the autumnal & winter months. It's the kind of time when you like to curl up in the library with a few collections of philosophical works and a nice selection of fine whiskies served to you by the butler, while you look out over the lake at the changing colours of the trees, i find.

After this summers heat, I've been longing for it to come.

I like the end of fall, since that means that winter's coming! But I love autumn the most because of the food ^^ CANDY CORN!!!! And what about popcorn balls!!! I looovee the autumn foods XD

I like more mild weather with dark clouds,not into very hot or very cold weather,for me Autumn is more mild than Spring.

Fall is amazing. It's also my favorite season, I feel most at peace and connected with myself in autumn. I'm so glad to see so many others appreciated this most tranquil and lovely of seasons. Happy Autumn!

I wish the palm trees could change color, I love fall but I wish I lived a bit farther up north to witness all it's beauty. There's something about this season that makes me feel awesome. Summer and Autumn rock.

Hope the bugs die down soon so I can get back to meditateing in the woods.

I love the feeling it gives me! Plus I can speak to the wood now!
