Ex-con/socialite Paris Hilton appeared on "Late Night With David Letterman" last night -- and is sorry she did! The sardonic TV host harassed Hilton about her summer stay in the pokey -- and she wasn't having any of it.

At one point during the interview, an audience member screamed, "I love you Paris!" Letterman quipped, "Is that somebody you met in prison?" Ha! As the crowd erupted in laughter, Paris paused and said, "I didn't come here to talk about this. That was a long time ago. Now you're making me sad that I came."

Letterman then apologized and had Paris purring again.

It was hilarious...she had a spoiled little pouty face thing happening aswell

She just shot herself in the foot too...she just gave him 5 years of material.

I just don't understand why she's famous at all. The world's going mad. Maybe Letterman thinks so too and didn't want to stroke her ego.

Oh damn, I can't believe I missed seeing Paris Hilton last night....

Every single time I see her, the persona she gives is "I'm richer than all the rich and prettier than most models and I got 'it' and 'you' don't.

So I don't sympathize when she gets into trouble.

It makes me sad that she makes the news on a daily basis, yet my partners who risk their lives everyday to help others dont get a mention for what they do; our society is screwed up when it focuses on spoiled billionaires and OJ type murderers who make the headlines but the folks that risk and give their lives for others somehow doesn't matter.

We wonder why the younger generations are often so self absorbed; we have no one to blame but ourselves.

Exactly. We need to stop buying gossip magazines. Stop watching entertainment shows. If we stop paying attemtion to these people, the reporters will stop trying to get all the dirt on these people.

What's even worse is when they would put her face and headline on the front page, about some moronic thing she did, and then you have to go to page 4, to read about the real world...If she didn't have her family's money, she would be just another dumb bimbo, now she's just a rich dumb bimbo in my book...
