this forum is not allowed talk about drugs, i thnk alcohol is ok, anyways... i got a dui ON saturday night which really sucks.. im just debating if i should get a public offender or just face the music? i heard my buddy got a public deffender and his penalties were even worse then my other two buddies who just faced the music. so what do you thnk? i blew .103 .. which is barley over the legal limit of .08... so it wasnt like i was really drunk, it was in my system.. im just lookin for advice from individuals on what i should tell the judge, or if not, then maybe some websites on some thngs that cna help me out...

the fact of the matter is that you drank alcohol, and then got in a vehicle.. it does not matter that you were barely over the limit. you were over the limit, and by a good amount. you actively chose to get into to your car.. which in the hands of a drink driver is a weapon, and chose to drive. putting every other person who was driving on the road in that area at risk.
cop the fine.. you did the wrong thing and should be penalised justly. hopefully you learn from it and dont do it again

Go and face the consequences...You were driving under the influence, no matter what the count was and lucky you didn't have any kind of an accident that could have been fatal...Not trying to scare you, but the courts don't take this lightly, and you were wrong...Where I live, one DUI and your license is suspended...The sad thing is that these jerks who have been to court, still drive and we've had quite a few fatalities here because of it...So go to court and take what they give you...Sorry but I have no tolerance for anyone who drives while under the influence...

A shame really that you didn't drive off a cliff or into a tree...

Face the music is what you should do. It was your genius to get into the car and I don't think you should be let off lightly just because you don't think you did anything serious.

Drink and drive, face the punishment!

I hope they take away your licence.. many local councils have Zero tollerence on Drink Driving and I for one would hope they throw the max sentence at you.

What is you had hit a child or an innoncent pedestrian.

It doesn't matter how much alcohol you consumed; the very fact is you got into a car well aware that you had consumed such and drove. Be grateful you did not kill anyone with your sheer stupidity and face the consequences. With this in mind please note:
