I just found this on animal planet's homepage. There's this wild 100 poll to see what is the world's top 10 favourite animals out of the 100 wild animals.
For every vote, Animal Planet will donate $1 (up to $100,000) to World Wildlife Fund. i had to come rep the cats. it was a hard one to choose between the lion and the tiger but i went with tigers because they are more endangered and need help.

Man that was tough having to choose just one. I was going to go with the wild cats but for some reason I couldn't help myself and voted the hummingbird. Maybe tomorrow I'll vote one of the cats.

My familiar is a wolf, so I voted for them plus they are very noble creatures. It's good that they are doing this for the animals.

Wow, thanks for this. It was so hard to chose a favourite - I wanted to vote for them all! in the end I went with Elephants, I don't think I'll ever erase the images I saw as a kid, of poachers bringing down an elephant. It makes my eyes burn just thinking about it.

i will urge everybody to vote for lion or tiger. they are disapering extremly fast, exspecially the tiger. i will remind everyone that cats are top of the food chain. if the tiger goes, then the lion, then the lepard, jaguar, and cougar do you know what disasters that will bring. millions of the cats would be pray running around in discusting numbers eating all the vegitation which means it leaves none for us which means all we have to eat is meat from the former pray of the cat which means billions of constipated people..............

I found it odd there was a butterfly in the line-up. I thought there was an evolutionary difference between animanls and insects?

thats what i thought too and the humming bird is so small...they are cool in their own

mini ways they cant come close to sharks, killer whales, crocs or any bird of prey,

i would also like to see python, king cobra, or some sting rays up in that poll.

hey, i like them, but voted for the Elephants for the simple reason they cant jump,

remember if certain animals get saved many other animals that live in that animals habitat are saved also

like for example if tigers are saved so are all those snakes, lizards birds crocs elephants that all live where the tiger lives

if orangutans then so are clouded leopards, giant pythons, etc...

so one animal being saved usually saves a whole lot more then just that animal

Wow, that was hard! I love the big cats, grizzly bears and wolves, but I eventually voted for the giant panda. They need all the help they can get, because there are only a few left and its hard to breed them. And also because they sometimes do handstands and then pee on themselves!

Thank you Catseyes! I love to come across other people who love animals like I do. What we have done to the wildlife all around the world breaks my heart. I just hope in their hour of need we can try to reverse some of this damage and help them. We at least owe them that.

That was difficult, I was clicking through and each animal I was thinking "aw I love chimps" then it was "ah I love big cats" then I went "aw Elephants are lovely" "what about dolphins"
