Another way to do that is to call McDonald's or almost any fast food place and tell them that you just came through the drive thru and that you are all the way home and your order is completely wrong. They will almost always take your name and tell you to come back the next day and they will comp your meal.

Of course, um......I've never done that......at least since I was a broke teenager, I haven't.

I don't think I have enough balls to do something like that.

Either way, I'm always too paranoid that they spat in the food... So I never go there.

I have a three pass policy. I let them make a mistake on my order three times before i expect a refund. I still call and leave my name but refuse comping. I worked for McDonald's for five years as a manager, there were never any excuses for making mistakes, but now with the talking monkeys they have doing the job its a lot harder to expect anything from them. Im happy when they get my drink right.

is the Serving of the order that bad? I mean. they'd make that much of a mistake.. wow..

its terrible here, they make the easiest job in the world look really really hard.
