I just want to start off by saying that i am not attacking anyone nor trying to bash anyones views or ideas, this is simply my own views and nothing more.

I have noticed quite recently that the posts here on the forums are becoming a little eyebrow raising, what i mean by that is some of the threads in a few different topics are a bit bogus. I have just finished reading a few threads on a few different things and im getting disappointed more and more. In the rules it says not to garbage post but im seeing more and more of it. I'm not going to mention the posts but im not talking about things like aliens or werewolves, i'm talking about the things we all know are just completley rubbish. Im sure im not the only one who sees this, this is one of my fave sites to visit but its becoming almost tiresome.

What do you think?

It all depends which Threads you are talking about really.....

As always, feel free to use the 'report this post' function to alert us to anything you think is intolerable or just plain ridiculous. More often than not threads will be started by kids just goofing off or looking for attention. If no one bothers to mention them, flame wars tend to erupt and matters quickly get out of hand. With so many new threads started every day, its difficult to notice the disruptive/garbage threads. Remember, we are only as efficient as the support we receive from our members.

sometimes... things you called garbage is not to another fell free to report, let the mods decide

I know that we can let the mods know, and i also know that one mans trash is another mans treasure.......

What im trying to say is that im a little over seeing them, if people want the attention then take it somewhere else

i also dont want to start a bloody war....... i was just asking if anyone else felt the same way i did

maybe 'garbage' posts are like love --- all in the eye of the beholder ?

I always skip some of the post that comes in that I think is either weird or rubbish so that way I can enjoy the real posts on here. Besides, they not stopping my enjoyment of UM Forums. But again, this is my opinoion. Because I know there're are more great people on this site then a hand full of rubbish.

I assume you're talking about threads like: "So when did you find out you were a werewolf?" or "I am a mutant" or "I trapped a ghost in my car...halp!"?

Yeah, been that way for years.

They're always either ISHOOTLAZURSOUTMYEYESZOMGXMEN kids, trolling teenagers or people with genuine psychological disorders.

In any case, a few days and a few closed threads later...they've moved on.
