Good point, but it could be a good investment in the future. By buying a bunch of land now while it's cheap, and leaving the land in your family from generation to generation, could enable your family to monopolize big benefits when getting there is commonplace and land prices skyrocket.

I would skip the Venus property, and settle for Mars personally. I would rather have some cold climate than the hottest planet in the solar system.

an american airlines even sold tickets to the moon. All the tickets were actually sold out within a few days..

but i know for a fact, outer space cannot be sold under international law. no country may assume ownership of any object in outer space unless they send it up.. :st :su

I was wondering about that - how exactly can someone claim to "own" the moon in order to be selling plots of land ?  I don't see how any individual or organisation can claim exclusive ownership rights to areas of the moon's surface.
