Am I the only person who seems to be regularly banging their head on random stuff such as doors, desks and swimming pool walls?

Do you think I have something wrong with me, or soon will do after all the head banging, or am I just a clumsy person?

In the past month I have banged my head at least 4 times, latest being yesterday on the door as I tried to walk through it, sounds stupid doesn't it, but it bounded back on itself whilst I was innocently trying to walk through it, and boy does it kill today?

The worst however was when I swam into the wall at my local swimming baths, that one actually created a lump - I'm beginning to wonder if all this is a conspiracy theory or whether I'm just trying to subconciously inflict pain on myself, or whether in fact it is just a weird series of coincidences?

Any thoughts?

Kind regards...

Ames ... who shall be henceforth known as Ames with the bumpy head.

Well it would seem that way, but I'm not like that in any other aspect of my life, not like I go around breaking things, dropping things, falling over things or anything like that - it's just the head banging thing, although it seems to have done no damage so far!

Maybe you're just thinking of more important things, like the meaning of the universe. Or maybe you're tall and you just don't know it...

I know I'm just absent minded...

I ran and jumped onto our old lounge one night. It was a L shape with the corner piece made of wood which of course I hit.
I had a slight concussion, was slurring my words and had a killer headache for a week.
Luckily this was years ago, but I still get the odd hit now. I think for me now, my brain is always running at 110% so I not paying attention to the outside world just the inside.

You're not alone ames.

I've gotten three concussions, split my head open (blood) five times and pass out and hit my head sometimes.

It's a medical condition methinks...perhaps we're just not aware of the size of our heads and are unable to move them out of the way of objects.

My friend likes to run head first into solid objects like lockers. Quite entertaining

Get your ears checked. Inner ear problems can cause all kinds of clumsiness and balance problems..
