After only a few days on this site the 1 thing i have noticed is the amount of sad stories that keep popping up in the forums... you never hear ne thing nice going on in this world like couple finnaly had baby after 12yrs of trying.... you know happy stories that make u feel good in side. instead all your reading is "man eats wife", "man gets eaten by shark" , "wife kills husband . stabing him 12 times"

I have to agree with this. Everyone gets all the happy stories in their papers, the bizarre ones find their way here.
Just a question: Why is this thread in the Metaphysics section?
sad news just makes this site less enjoyable i believe.

This might make me sound a tad like a freak...but I like hearing and reading stories like that. I enjoy it. Happy stories with happy endings really bore the hell out of me

Well Us Ausies are diferent to americans just like with your pic i dont get why its full of crazy, dumb, and psyco cartoon characters. and i find normal kind of typin is way to slow especially wen in chat rooms so i cut my words short hope u can read wot im saying though

The cartoon characters aren't "stupid".
I love this show and I miss it terribly.
The majority of people simply are not interested in ahppy news. That's why you don't see it on the TV or on the radio or in the newspapers etc, 90% it's news that would genuinely concern us, scare us, worry us etc.
I don't know why, but people just aren't interested in happy stories.
Anyway if you don't like sad stories, don't read the forums they're in.

I totally agree with BurnSide. Even I like to heard bad or unhappy news to see what's wrong in the world today. Some of the news that gets on the forums, is good. I guess when people search and read, it's mostly bad news.
