Oh? You did not know? Some people are not addicted to using material conveniences. Some people actually have more interesting lives to live and more important affairs to attend to outside of this virtual world...

I tell you where I am;
In my garden! It's pitch black and Corringham has just been hit by the best snow storm i've ever seen in my foruteen years of liveing.
It started 15 minutes ago and the snows prettey deep already!
YAHOOOOOOOO!

Feb 21 2005, 08:31 PM
hahah.
We've got about 15 feet of it in total this winter, which is very little compared to the norm. Several feet fallevery now and then, it's considered quite normal. So enjoy your couple inches.

Although i lived in England for 15 years and only once saw snow, we got about 2 centimeters of it, i remember it was so crazy the whole country shut down haha. So having that much snow over there for such a short time is very bizarre.

Feb 21 2005, 08:39 PM
indeed. But, this was totally unpredicted. The weather channel said snow....in cornwall!
This countrys famous for its weather, but only because it nearly ALWAYS rains. Snow is very rare. It'll get more common as time goes on though, with global warming and junk.

Statistically there's just as many people around now as there usually is, what makes you feel that there is hardly anyone here ?
There are 50+ members on the on-line list even as I write this.

It hasn't been quiet lately, nor has it been less active. The amount of members posting and the number of visitors to the site is the same as it normally is.

yup. to get us ready i guess, get us used to the layout, plus, if you do bad in the mocks you then know that you should go down to the lower level or whatever. i'm doing all honours, except for irish. but if i don't get atleast a 'C' in maths and business in the mock exams, i'll do ordinary level for the actual exam then. it that way it's quite handy.
although, they say that the mocks/pres are actually more difficult than the actual exams

I'm closing this thread down, because the claims in here are frankly getting to be a bit ridiculous, and the record needs to be set straight.
Someone assumes that because they haven't seen someone in particular for a certain amount of time that the forum is 'inactive', as though there's nobody else here. The forum is not inactive, nor has there been any reduction in participation, 'quality' of threads or anything else for that matter.
By contributing to this with further claims of 'inactivity' you are feeding the rumour so to speak, the suggestion that there is some sudden lack of participation is simply untrue, period. I cannot stress this enough - please stop trying to make out that there is a problem here when there is none.
There are between 1000-1500 posts made to this forum every day, how anyone can claim that hardly anyone is posting is beyond me.
