Hmmmm, methinks adamantium is almost totally heat resistant, isn't a light sabres cutting power based on heat ?

It might even reflect off the adamantium and slice your pinkys off.

Actually this has been pretty thoroughly discussed already:

Some self confessed "huge nerd" reckons a light sabre is in fact a "sort of enclosed plasma beam" so who knows ?
Shivel
No, a lightsaber cant cut adamantium, seeing as they do not exist. But if they did exist..then i suppose anything would be possibly, so sure why not.

Moe always wondered what would happen if he dropped a lightsaber while it was in a spining motion. Especially on of those double bladed ones.

would it continue cutting and falling thru the earth untill it reached the core?

Imagine how dangerous that'd be in your house. Playing around with a light saber... Prolly cut a hole through your house.

That's an interesting question Moe. But doesn't a light saber turn off if you aren't holding it? Jedi's throw it because of their power, which keeps it on while they throw it. It's a safety feature for us normal people. Am I Right?

But guessing if light sabers were actual technologically engineered weapons and it's safety features removed. I'd say it would cut a hole through the earth until it loses it's energy (battery-wise), or it's handle disintegrates from the intense heat of the earth's core.

Here is Moe .. with his light saber!! tongue.gif

Moe doesnt see how a lightsaber is very practical . Moe has studied many weapon arts and many of the stances and techniques require body or limb contact with the blade.

yeah it's a plasma beam that gos straight up, than bends around to the oppisite direction. Thats why the tip is round. yeah lightsabers can cu through anything, if they didn't do you think jedi masters and sithlords would use htem?
