Weird is also a very commonly misspelt word, people often spell it as 'wierd'.

According to the spell check on this site, the second is correct.
According to the other computer on my desk, both are correct.
I really don't think that a one letter difference is that big of a deal to get so hyped about, but I will strive to correct it in the future.
of course, the entity known a scipheral had best make sure that his/her/its own posts are spotlessly accurate as well.......... I'll be checking

Accidents happen when typing, as well as different people from different places spell things differently.
