I have always had a deep hate for the Crazy Frog, and his buddies such as those two fluffy birds and a tiny dragon. Ringtones are the peicings of the 20th centurey, but these tones are just annoying.
So after checking Jamsters web site and looking for a place to complain, I came across a web site about the con that Jamster is pulling.
You see, people don't read the small print, and if they did, they'd know the big bold writing saying 'Get this tone for 50p now!' was a lie; because Jamster isn't a one off service, it's monthly, and can cost up to £8 weekly depending on which tones you've downloaded, not including £1.25 for evrey text message they send to you, which are frequent and pointless.
But of course they don't read the small print; it's a size 6 font on a light blue background.
Frequencey
I'm sure anyone who lives in the UK has noticed the alarming frequencey of advertisments from Jamster for it's ringtones such as Crazy Frog, those two birds and Nessie. During prime time televison in the UK, it appears twice evrey commercial break on all three commercial terrestrial channels, and continues to appear at least once, but often twice, per advertisment break for the rest of the day.
That means these advertisments are repeated over and over again in a VERY short space of time. It's like Brain washing.
And these are only the 'Crazy Frog' ringtones. Just the other day an ITV commercial break bought up two 'Crazy Frogs', two 'nessies', and then one of those two birds on a line.
This has got to stop. It is absurd. I should not have to hear stupid noises for foolish products evrey time the show I'm watching stops for a break.
It seems like the BBC is the only safe haven, and Doctor who is the only high-ratings show that isn't boasting a frog in the advertisments'.
Further more...
The ASA will no longer accept complaints over the frequencey of the advertisments.
Now, we have to propositions...
We can choose to be adult about things and ignore it.
Or we can do........
