Once again it's getting close to time for the second annual Official UM Awards. I'n not entirely sure when we had them last year, but it seems it was around this time. Anyhow, I thought I'd get the ball rolling by starting this here lobbying thread, where folks can start dropping names for members who they believe need to be nominated. I'll be back with my list a little later.

Yay! As a newbie, I have never encountered these famous Awards. Its gonna be fun!

Could you perhaps give us the categories, as I have no idea what I am dropping names for.

the categories are as follows: Best Member, Best Thread, Funniest Member, Most Bizarre Member, Best Avatar, Worst Avatar, Best Username, Most Controversial Thread, Most Bizarre Post, and Most Pointless Thread.

The official nomination process should be starting pretty soon, but that don't mean we can't start lobbying for the people we think deserve to win. And yes, this is just another way for me to soak up some attention.

categories would be great. but i would nominate STAR CHILD for being the coolest and MOE for being the funniest.

Bfg for best, amalgumat for funniest, zandore for best username.

There could also be a best sig quote award... My two cents on it

I am also a n00b. I am in fact an eternal n00b. But having been here for just above 5 months, soon I'll be a NEO_N00B, and thats where the fun really starts

Oh, Moe definatly owns funniest. But a close second would be Mr. 420.

The awards will start next month sometime, the categories will most likely not be the same as the last years however.
