I thought i posted this question a few hours a go but it doesn't exist in my messages history...

Alright i don't know if this is a dumb question but...

1.
If i have a titanium ball and i place explosives in it and then detonate the explosives, what would happen?
I am thinking that nothing will happen until someone cracks the ball open and then, bam!
?

2.
Same thing as above except there is a small hole in the ball.
I am thinking that a large explosive power will force it's way out of the small whole?

Reason i ask this is i just thought of this yersterday and was wondering what would happen.
Mr Ed
You would probably die.

In my opinion, the question is much too vague to answer.

How big is this ball?
How thick is the titanium?
What kind of explosives and how many of them?
Also, a 'small hole' is a matter of opinion, so exactly what is your version of small?

PODNickerz
Well i just chose titanium because it is one of the strongest materials
So when i say titanium i just mean a material that is extremly strong so that when the explosive explodes inside, it would not rip open through the material.
So the ball would be any size and a pretty powerful explosive

know what i mean? original.gif

Situation (1): Maybe it's like they tell you not to go back to fireworks if they don't go off. Pick it up and *blam*!

(2): i reckon it'd probably go shooting off into distace likea rocket. A jet shooting out from a small hole at very high velocity - whizz!
