i don't know.......I'm pretty fond of spiderman....I don't know why either..... maybe it's the tights and he squirts sticky stuff out of his fingers...... huh.gif laugh.gif

Actaully I created (for my own entertainment) a superhero myself and wrote stories involving his adventures so my fav would be "The Panther"
Falco Rex
I always liked "The Tick." He's big, blue, nigh-invulnerable, and whimsically and dangerously insane..
Now that's a hero I can look up to!

I like him because he's got a lot of gadgets, and he trained his body to be at the top of human ability. I don't care if he's got no superpowers, he'd still scare the crap outta you if you were in a dark alley. ph34r.gif
Falco Rex
Well, not the Adam West version of Batman. He might have me running to call Social Services about "Robin" but inspire terror he doesn't.. tongue.gif

user posted imagemy favorite is Wolverine from X-men!

like him because! Wolverine possesses a "fast healing factor" ability enabling him to regenerate damaged or destroyed areas of his cellular structure. This grants him virtual immunity to poisons and limited immunity to the fatigue poisons generated by his own body. It also retards his aging process. Wolverine possesses superhumanly acute senses of sight, smell, and hearing. Wolverine's skeleton was laced with Adamantium, redering his bones virtually unbreakable. As of late, it has been ripped out through his skin by Magneto in the Fatal Attractions crossover series. He also has three claws on each hand which until recently were believed to be pure Adamantium. When, the Adamantium was removed, however, it was revealed that his claws were bone, and therefore he must have been born with them. The Adamantium had laced these too, giving them the appearance of metal and rendering them virtually unbreakable as well

Being much older than most of you I recall when a "Hero" had a muc h clearer definition than today. In my day heros were not bloddthirsty they did not kill etc etc. Wolverine and others had made the line between hero and villian very thin. I admit I do like Wolverine but his status as "hero" I find lacking yes he supports the "good" side but his tendency towards violence is not what I grew up to regonize as hero. I even recall Batman as being much more uplifting than the present DARK Batman. Here is a brief list of characters I would call "Hero"

Spiderman
Batman
Flash
Green Latern (Hal Jordan)
Thor
Captain America (Steve Rogers)
Shang Chi (Master of Kung Fu)

to name a few

My list of heros I would NOT call heros

Wolverine
Punisher
Current Batman
Spawn
Iron Fist (because his oringnal motives were to kill)

again to name but a few
Mr Ed
Darker heroes make better entertainment. Especially Spawn.
panther10758
For the younger group perhaps but killing and dismembering isnt "hero" like for my taste.

...Well modern heros today are no longer good old boy scouts and anti-commis, who fight "For the American Way," and "Justice."

Heros today, are darker, much more human, then the "good ol' boys" of olde.

My hero, is the Reverend Jesse Custer. He has a mouth that makes my Mama look like a good girl, and a moral and ethic high ground I can't help but admire.

Also, Spawn. Although again, like Jesse, he is more of an Anti-Hero, however, the "humanity" is there and you are always pulled around as to weither he is "good or bad." Also Panther, if you look at Old Mythological "heros," you will see they were very vengeful and bloodthiristy, so in fact... todays "dark heros," are nothing new in the arena of characters... But as I was taught... nothing in the realm of fiction is "orginal."

Any hoo... I've typed too much as it is...

since my last post on here,

i think thay all are good in thier own way, we have a room of nothing but old comic books, i have started to like more and more of different super hero's but i think i still have to lean toward spiderman
First of Two
Spider-Man and Batman both. Got them drawn on my walls.
Viewtiful Joe
Viewtiful Joe gets my vote... whistling2.gif
MonkeyMan
nanananananananananananabnnananan AquaMan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my personal favorite would have to be Exar Kun of the dark horse line of star wars comics.

Batman is my favorite superhero. he is so, interesting, and complex, and i like the whole idea of improving yourself and working out and stuff. he's taken down alot of the hard hitters such as Superman and the whole justice league, and he relys on his smarts. he studies the weaknesses of everyone, and he is a character that most everyone can relate too. when he saw his parents die, he wasnt a pussy and cried about(well he did for a while), but he mad a vow and he kept his promise. thats self-discipline and hardwork!!! in a sense, hes still a boy, fighting for justice, in the only way he knows.
