Japanese Talent Show

laugh.gif I saw this a long time ago. I think though that this needs to be put in the jokes section though
TheOriginalF
Yes I thought it might have belonged there but I wasn't sure, perhaps a nice moderator would like to move it to the proper section.

I would say she had a frame attached to the shoulders of her robe. That way she could drop down suddenly while it looked like her actual torso was still standing..
When she finally hit the ground she'd only have to collapse the frame to make it look like she fell..
I assume that was the purpose of the loose garment in the first place..To hide any motions she was making on the inside of them..

She got a nice medal for it, which is all that matters in the end.

it's all done through magic, you know.

I think that is accurate, because the upper body and shoulders are a bit artificial looking. However what boggled my mind was how she dropped her head past the collar of that gown and then re-attached her "head", in front of the collar, rather than through it. (An example of obvious is found in the midget video link on this page. It's so obvious when he transfers his head up and down his torso.)
It was as if her arms were bracing her head(under the chin) and moving it in front of and without obstruction by, the gown or it's collar. blink.gif

My hubby was stunned when I played it for him this morning. We were so impressed we sent her on , via/email. laugh.gif

neat trick but kinda simple, one of the hands that were holding here head were fake, notice how she never really moves them once she has put them together shes holding the fake one with the real one, and you can kinda see her pulling her arm out after she puts them together, the shoulders are probably a small frame to give it the shape that she is holding with her free arm, and you can even see her moving her arm inside the dress, after she gets back up.

but still a really good trick original.gif
