Ok, lets talk about everyones favorite thing...Money!! I was wondering if anyone has a good idea on how to make some cash on the side. I do things like.... play the slot machines at the local casino...but you lose as much as you win.... I put money in share certificates with my bank...but thats only 5% I know there is ebay too... any good ideas????

Make a swear jar or a penny jar you will be amazed to how much you save.
But you to make money maybe start a night job or a part time job.
You could also sell bits and bats around the house that you do not need.

Look for part time jobs

Flea markets. I used to pull in about $600 every weekend at the flea market selling stuff I found curbside in other people's garbage. Just sitting out (like furniture, clocks, lamps, vacuums, TVs, toys, bikes) ... I wasn't rooting thru the bins & bags.

Hello...some good posts so far...well im not a kid...and im in the military...so a second job is out the window...im not poor...doing well but I love money and the more I make and save the more I want...I just want a second income on the side...other than my wifes..... I cant sell copied dvd's or cd's on ebay...they wont allow that.... theres got to be something... hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Weird you mention that.... I can back from OIF after the war with kidney problems... I think it was the water I drank down there..... my doc dosent know.... well after 1 yr of test...many, many tests...and 2 operations I have 1 kidney working at 60-80% was 80 3 weeks ago...but it has slowed down again.... never take your health for granted. I thought I was superman a yr ago....now I have to get a donor list together....

Polar bears are the cheapest most stingy a-holes you will ever meet. I tried selling snow cones here on antarctica...but no one like ice cream here...wonder why..... I tried selling a/c units.... no luck... fans...nope didnt sell one....

Then I tried selling beach umbrellas.... pail and shovel......sun screen..... surf board.... sun glasses.... where am I going wrong???

Swear jar. That remides me of a Simpsons episode once. Um- yeah a part time jobr or a second part time job would make more sense.

Buy items at a goodwill such as Designer purses, or designer belts. Usually you can buy these for 4-10 dollars a piece.. Invest 20$ in leather cleaning tools, Toothbrush, polishes, etc etc.. Now after you buy your purses/belts and such, clean them up, shine up the leather, clean the brass's on them, etc..
Now take pictures with your digital camera, and post the items on ebay.. VERY VERY part time, I pull in about 4 grand a month off ebay this way.. 20 hours will get you a couple thousand dollars easy. Dont buy junk equipment, and never false advertise your product, always let people know exactly what they are buying.. You will get good feedback, as well as good money, and loyal customers.
This is the best way I have found by far.
Also, it works so well, im opening ebay store in my city.. Opening day Sept 1st =)

That sounds like a good idea....Ebay is awesome... a good place to make some money..... but legally...Ha! I do computer repair and service on the side...build them too... but alot of peole dont have $1000 to pay at once for a custom system... oh well.... keep thinking.....

i sell ipod minis on ebay. I have aa china and india supplier and i get about $70 profit per unit. I'm starting to get into mobile phones too.

I pick up penny's and dime's off the sidewalks from people who dropped them. My last jar was $150 worth.
