sad.gif If you got friends and family in the state of South Carolina coast regions you need to check on them to see if they are safe.

Actually .. it's heading for the North Carolina coast... although it is stationary now... and they really don't know what it is going to do .. they are expecting it to hit somewhere around Wilmington N.C.

It is actually only a Tropical Storm.. for now... it keeps gaining and then losing strength...

It shouldn't be a bad storm.. ifit does hit as a Category 1... the NC coast has weathered much larger storms.... I know cause I have been there!

This has got to be the WORST part about hurricane season: as soon as one hurricane/tropical storm has come and left its destruction, another one comes before people can get a chance to rebuild or move back, and leaves even more ruin. no.gif

A lot of people don't realize... but there have already been 15 named tropical storms this year (in the Atlantic/Gulf)... and will probably be several more (Ophelia being number 15)

The two I lived through started with "F"... Fran in 1996 and Floyd in 1999.
