Boomerang(sp)?

It was a huge event that happenend north of NYC along the hudson river, back in the 80's. They wrote a book about it called "night siege". My mother, and several people I know witnessed it. There were thousands of reports. But I cant seem to find pics of this craft. If anyone can help, I would be most thankfull.

Yea, Thats the only one I could come up with too. Its strange how the cap has been put on these sightings. There should be litteraly HUNDREDS of pics and vid's. There were a couple of sites while I searched that said they had photos, but they seem to be shut down. I still live in the area that this happened, and know alot of people who still see things to this day, though not as big as the boomerang.


Back in 94 or 95, Myself and 3 others saw a small round craft that flew like a humming bird above my house for like 1/2 hour. It got so close to us a couple times, I remember feeling very nervous. God I wish I would have thought to grap the camera, but I was just star struck, if you know what I mean.

Any members here witness this?

I didn't witness this particular sighting but I did see something very odd in upstate NY in the early 70's. I've heard that the Hudson river valley was very active during the 70s and 80s...I'm not sure if it still is today.

What did you see? And, I've heard this is hot spot for strange sightings/events.

Well, it was sort of an oval disk shaped object, it appeared to be solid and metallic, it had lights that seemed to pulsate and rotate through the color spectrum. It was one weird looking *whatever* that's for sure. This all happened over 30 years ago and I still haven't a clue as to what it could have been. BTW, I was an adult at the time (22 years old and stone cold sober). It was seen by at least 15 others that I know of (including a policeman). Black ops craft, alien space ship, unknown phenomena?...I sure as hell don't know.

Yea, that was basicaly what I saw over my house. Like I siad, we watched it for 1/2 hour, it was amazing.

I remember reading about the sightings in the Hudson Valley while living out in Colorado, so it was national news for a while. I can't remember the exact time frame, but it was in the 70's/80's period.

i remeber the unsolved mysteries episode. it was also during this time that Whitley Strieber was abducted.

Strange that thousands of people supposedly saw these craft, yet there is only one unclear picture, that could be of anything...

i would imagine that being in the 70's & early 80s there wasn't a huge influx of cameras availible as there are now. i wish we had digital cams in those early cases.
