I've seen a lot of "Black Eyed Kids" posts recently, and something cam up in my memory. A family friend once discused Aztecs with me (after a project I did) and mentioned that they did drugs and their pupils were absoulutly huge. So, perhaps the Aztecs still live? (now I heard nothing about this in all my research so plz don't be mean)

Cortez destroyed the Aztec nation. While there may very well be people who are descendents, as a population...they were wiped out.

The Aztecs meshed with the Central American population. There are reminantes of them even in the slang of the region. And if I remember correctly, they practice a religion that is a mesh of Catholocism and the religion of the aztecs. I think there are even some sects that still worship Quetzalqoatl.

I'm not sure what you've been smoking.. Every civilization around the world has used drugs that dilate the pupils throughout time.

Just about everyone's pupils dilate when they take drugs and it's not like everyone who takes drugs is an aztec.

I think that what one wing's... trying to say is that the kids with black eyes could be direct descendants from teh aztecs sort of thing. Maybe some aztec gene causes the pupils to dilate more than in other races making them appear completely black eyed. These could just be regular druggies who happen to have this gene, then when they're stoned off their faces they wander around and scare the S*** out of anyone they meet.

witht he black eyed kids thing people tend to be missing the statements where the black eyes are not just big black pupils (most illegal drugs will cause the pupils to dilate by tremendous portions) anyway the statement everyone keeps missing is the ENTIRE eye ball is black, that means its not limited to the iris and pupil there are no whites of the eyes just pure black eyeball.
if it where contained to the iris and pupil then that could easily be faked with contact lenses or as mentioned drugs.

i thought some of them moved up into the mountain regions where cortez did not bother to reach them. or was that the mayans?

I'd have thought that if the Aztecs were still alive they'd either be completely blended with the rest of the population or be inbred hill-billies by now, it has been hundreds of years since they were supposedly wiped out, i don't see how a very small population could survive without mixing with outsiders
