I can barely watch that. I would like to ask you something. WHY is everything you post about young girls or young ladies? That is not only exploiting them, but there are other reasons for their behavior. Possession is NOT that common, give me a break. Are these poor women drugged or simply mentally ill? Do men in your Country get possessed or sit around and watch??

Superstitious and tradition haunted from the hell-hole that is India, what can one expect but a horrorshow--
Then again, it used to be like that everywhere. Every illness is an possession, a foreign daemon assaulting and invading--
Oh, but seriously, this kind of stuff is really sad. The stupidity of superstitious folks really makes me sad. But I guess they only try to explain what is wrong with the phrases their traditions and history and culture provided them with, and that generally tends to be something really silly like... ghost possessions... and that alien that jumped around and made people panic and stampede over one-another...

There are many natural herbs and remedies that will cause a miscarriage. It's very possible she has taken one of these (knowingly or not). Also many physical reasons for a miscarriage. Even seemingly totally normal, healthy women sometimes have trouble carrying to term.
Seems more an oddity of medical science than paranormal.

I agree, and she doesnt look too healthy to begin with. I take it, it is commonplace in that country to just exorcise anyone who is physically or mentally ill? Just as well she doesn't give birth till she gets well, if she ever does. That is just pathetically sad and barbaric in my opinion..JN

Interesting video, m.namasivayam. How common a sight is this where you live? Do the magicians ask for payment? Would one simply walk to a booth on the street, or make arrangements before hand?
Why be offended at this? This is a different country, different culture. I've never seen anyone from India come here and slam us for being too immoral, for eating a sacred animal, or any of the other things that they might find distasteful. It's simply a woman making herself dizzy, she appears to be free to go if she chooses. People seek many forms of treatments for problems, maybe she's already tried doctors and all the conventional methods. I've had some migraines that were so stubborn, I think I would have even considered this as an option!

What’s so disturbing about it? It’s a chick that is only swinging her head in circles, and really in believing on her Beliefs. It’s new to me but not really unsettling. Russia has all the "disturbing" videos involving Possessions( u seen them).
She believes that she is possessed , an belief that weighs as much as ppl that believe in their Jesus. Honestly, I know little of their Religion but it does look interesting n mysterious doesn’t it? India is the one places that I like to go and be philosophic...mantavathy hm.

I don't get it. Implying India has a Hindu majority is like implying the US has a Christian majority. I'm not in it, but I'm not offended by the implication...
The last vid was a bit too rough. I don't see how that would be necessary to accomplish what they are trying to do.

It could be PE, that these young girls and women, are told they are possessed so with that they begin to believe it. From the hundreds of videos in that same area, there is something wrong with the people not the women, in general. Women could be PMSing, depressed or just annoyed at something and POOF they are possessed, what a shame and a waste of time and precious life. Lemons? OMG..

Thank you for posting the different links, I have never seen anything like them before.
Yes, the videos can be uncomfortable to watch. It was only difficult because I could not understand what was being said.
Every culture has their own set of beliefs - we will never understand them all. What is okay in some cultures is taboo in others.
I can not say these videos were outrageously disgusting, barbaric or inhumane... they were just outside our comfortable set of norms. The videos showed a cultures version of an exorcism.... I can't imagine that they would be a gentle, civilized experience.
That is not to say that I condone the abuse of mentally ill, but if these people honestly think they are possessed. What proof do I have to say that they aren't?
At one point in US history, some ailments were blamed on possession and I can't imagine that we wouldn't be just as shocked if we had seen those 'treatments'.

Well if they are ill they can't think properly isn't it? then they won't think they are possessed.
Someone was telling them they are possessed.
Seems to me the rituals never ends.

I appreciate the videos, they show a culture that is completely alien to me, very interesting to see how other people live.
I doubt that India is a male chauvinistic place. After all, they had Indira Ghandi (beautiful woman she was) as prime minister from 1966-1977.
The United States still hasn't had a female president and probably won't, if Hilary is the only option. (Sorry that was way off topic.)
I'm curious as to how this works, does someone tell them that they are possessed? or do they decide that for themselves and then seek out treatment?
If the ritual (with or without the lemon) works, then who's to say that they didn't need it to relieve them of whatever was ailing them?

Hi Cyqe, I agree however the one thing I dont understand is, all the videos reference young females, and teens. Do males become "possessed" or it simply a female issue in that Country? The stats and info seems to add up to something very wrong imo..JN-
