only issues i have with PS3 at the moment is the price and the lack of games. other than those its an impressive console with alot of potential.

Price is my only complaint.

You're absolutely right. Halo IS just Halo, meaning it's just an average FPS with nothing we haven't seen before and no reason for the hype surrounding it.

Funny, I have left my 360 on for almost 24 hours, didn't overheat. While my friend says he has problems with his PS3 from playing it a couple of hours.

Oh please halo will sell twice as much as any ps3 fps,No reason for the hype?Its going to be the largest game launch ever.Thats why and average fps like halo has millions of people playing it on xbox live right,There are so many reasons why its hyped up to be a best seller the day it comes out.

Hype and sales DO NOT equal quality. Not hard to understand. I'm sure Halo 3 will be a good game, but there are seriously many more interesting games in the genre coming out within the next 6 months.

Thats not what i meant auto aim or aim assist is fps for dummies. If it were not for the story, characters or game modes for some console fps game I would never play them. When it comes to game play that have auto aim or aim assist I hate it, that said Halo is one of the worst offenders. I believe I said it before in an old thread I don't like the feel of fps games on a controller, keyboard and mouse is the best.

If you mean combined then you may have a point but Grand Theft Auto San Andreas alone sold over 13 million too, and nice spin on words if you also combine other series on the ps2 I doubt halo sold more then all them. Individually the game are not even in the top 20 list of best selling game.

And about your keyboard and mouse vs controller they did a test a couple of weeks back when Shadowrun for the 360 and PC came out for X-box live and Windows live. It was PC users vs X-box 360 users, PC users won every match. And if controllers are so good why do fps games on the consoles come with auto aim or aim assist.

I know, I was being sarcastic. Although nothing beats the precision aiming of a mouse, I absolutely hate playing almost anything anything on a PC. I don't like using the keyboard at all...too many buttons just for playing a game and way too easy to make a mistake.



Not all of them do. And the ones that do usually give you the option of turning it off. I never play with aim-assiting. Makes it way to easy. I've played enough games where I find it easy enough to aim with the analog sticks.

I don't know how much I have to add, but I own a PS3. I ADORE IT. It has had no problems. It does have a somewhat small game arsenal out as of now, but that will be changing in coming months.

The format is user friendly, the gameplay is breathtaking, and the fact that I keep all of my pirated movies and music on it is awesome It's also completely reverse compatible with all PS system gaming, without an additional purchase of an add-on to make it so. No disrespect, don't get all upity

It really is quite an amazing system, I love it, and I would recommend it to anyone!

I have a Wii and I love it because it is great to play against a group of people but alone it can sometimes get a little boring.

The PS3 is a superior console. I'm not being bias, I think it just is. For what you get, although expensive by consoles as we have previously known them, you are getting a lot for the cash you fork out. The only problem with the PS3 is the games situation...which will be rectified by Metal Gear Solid 4 and Grand Theft Auto 4. Once games like this start coming out, you will see more and more PS3 units being sold. The PS3 has only up to go, whereas I think the XBOX360 has hit its peak. On a whole, i think that the XBOX360 sold a good number of units quickly, but I think the PS3, although selling less originally, will make more and more sales for a much longer period of time. Basically, the PS3 is here to stay. I also think the Wii hype will die down fairly rapidly, due to its control system and poor graphics. The Wii is good for parties, I'll admit that, but for when people play on their own, they just want to relax on the couch, stare at some beautiful graphics, and not have to move around much.

I agree graphics aren't everything. I don't recall saying they were. But there are definatley a major factor.

I know a lot of people who are waiting till MGS4 and GTA4 to buy a PS3, and I'm sure that most people are waiting for a specific game to come out before buying the console. And GTA4 will definately be available on both consoles, its just likely that the xBox version will be cut down alot graphics wise due to the DVD vs Blu Ray storage capacity. Basically its likely that GTA4 will look hideous on an xbox360 compared to that of a PS3. The slow start to the PS3 is due to 2 factors. The higher than average price, and the lack of anticipated games. Once the games come out, and the price drops a bit, the PS3 will have very good sales.

Also, I fail to see how the PS3, a technically superior console is in your words "a horrible product". The upcomming games will make the PS3 blow the xbox out of the water. Deal with it.

Oh and 360 sales are at an all time low right now and have been dropping steadily since early this year. GTA4 is not 360 exclusive but will have exclusive content that you'll have to pay for.

Sony has already said they are in it for the long haul. Microsoft and Nintendo are trying to put as many consoles in homes as they can as fast as they can.
