conundrum
So anyways, I was on the computer here and then I kept seeing someone standing out of my peripheral vision in the hallway. During this time, my baby in the other room kept waking up and fussing around like every 10 minutes or so, so I kept checking on her. Everytime I left the room, I felt like someone was watching me.

At one point, I saw a shadow walk by me when I stepped in the hallway to check on her which made me jump. I moved my arms around but nothing made it move until I got in front of her room. Anyways, I was kinda freaked out and went out to have a cigarette. My dog was sleeping in the living room, so I got him to come with me. Immediately after we stepped outside, he turned to his right and raised his ears. I grabbed my camera and took a quick video:

(Just looked at the youtube version and it doesn't really look like much. But basically what happens is that the first lights that appear are from the back porch light reflecting on a windchime we have on our back porch, which is yellow on top to red on the bottom. Then the second row of lights that appear behind it move from right to left behind this first one, but are the same color, so I don't understand that).

Then I flashed a picture which blinded my dog haha:

(A few orbs that appeared here and a big spot of white on the left side, hadn't lit a cigarette yet either).

When I went inside, the same continued with the seeing shadows/baby fussing until my wife woke up and checked on her. When she was done, she wanted to have a cigarette but we couldn't find her sandals anywhere. We even got out a flashlight and looked under the bed and everywhere, about 20 minutes later we gave up and she just used mine to go outside. The rest of the night was pretty quiet after that.

She looked all over the house the next day for her sandals and they were still missing. At about 5pm I was on the computer when she said "Hey look my sandals." She was on the phone with her dad coming in the room, and her sandals were laying in the middle of the floor underneath some of her textbooks for school. I questioned her for like 10 minutes about them being there. It was really weird. Anyways, just thought I'd share this with you all.

Don't ya hate it when that happens??? That would def be a binky moment for me passifier.gif . Not sure what else to say hun. The video wasn't clear I did see one tiny bright image on the pic; not sure what it is...as for the sandals? Weird.

Poor baby; hope the crying stopped shortly after. Maybe just something odd passing through. Who knows?

Take care, Jody

LOL Give me that binky for the weekend, we do have shared custody!! Anyway, isnt it strange that SO many report sightings of shadow people? I mean every day at least one or two people admit to seeing one and thats just on this site alone? Things that make ya go "hummmmm.".. passifier.gif

When Im on the computer at night.(mainly this site) I to see 'shadows' out of the corner of my eyes. But this can simply be explained by the fact that everything around me is dark and ive been staring at a screen for an hour. Its as simple as that. Its the very same as staring into a light. when you look away, the presence of faint images exist. Although these images are simply a natrual reaction our eyes have after being exposed to light, they do seem spooky.
As for the video, I have no comment. It was to short and consisted of only lights. The picture can however be explained. It is most likely dust and moisture in the air. Most (as in 99.99 precent ) orb photos are simple amatures on hunts that are so giddy that they write off dust or water, and declair everything 'supernatrual'. This is why I say the best believer is a skeptic. Skeptics try to find explanations first. Therfore, in my opinion, if one skeptic were to publish a picture of a supernatural being, it would be more believeable beacuse its been looked over for any possable fraud.

I can't see anything in the video but darkness, your puppy is cute as heck though.

I had a shadow person ecounter once. I was sleeping I awoke maybe half awake when I saw a shadow person looking at my bookcase with his back to me. He or she almost looked like a made out of black smoke but had a definite human shape. I remember mumbling something to it (since I was half asleep) it turned around and looked at me and at that point I knew it wasnt friendly. It had Red eyes and looked pissed and cought by surprise I guess. I closed my eyes as if trying to wake from this dream if it was one. I reopened my eyes to see it leaning on me staring into my face I closed them again and opened them and it was gone.

Yeah, it looks a lot better in the original mpeg file, the light moves a lot smoother. It's not like an actual body shows up so I can understand how people will be like its nothing, but I still don't understand how the second light appeared. And I don't think bored means flashing a picture and taking a 7 second video just to see what it catches, intrigued maybe.

Thanks for checking it out. Yeah I realized the picture/video was nothing of definitive proof or anything, just decided to share it to have something along with the events that took place. And it was strange that the dog turned his head to the right when he stepped out with his ears up, I think he can see things haha.

I understood what you were talking about in your video. But because of the darkness, anything could have just moved by making it seem like there were another pair of lights. Most likely your camera lens had reflected the light making it seem like it was moving across. Btw, based on what you've said in this thread and others about your encounters with ghosts, shadow people and sleep paralysis, it might be about time to decide to move, you don't want another Amittyville on your hands. It probably is definately about time to start setting up unmanned cameras around the house, especially near your baby. If you can afford it and you feel it's worth it, one that record temperature. An electromagnetic sensor is more than appropriate, but that is just way up there in price range, especially for a one-time thing.
